I highly recommend Dr. Steve Coniglio

I feel blessed to be in Dr. Steve Coniglio's care.He is truly committed to his patients well being and listens when concerns are shared and offer guidance and explanations. He knows that healing takes place on all levels, not only physical, but emotional and mental as well. I have tried several chiropractors in New York and I can truly say that Dr. Steve Coniglio is the best in his field. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a GREAT chiropractor that cares for the patience well being.

So glad I found them!

For years I've been dreaming of a chiropractor that felt more like a mini-spa than a doctor's office... one that also offered therapeutic massage and acupuncture... and finally I did.

I needed a last minute appointment before a big race and my usual chiropractor couldn't see me. Dr. Craig was able to fit me in...I thought I would go for one visit, but now I won't go anywhere else. Everyone in the office is amazingly pleasant and takes the time to make you feel well-cared for. Some chiropractors just do the basics and send you on your way, but this office goes above and beyond to help you heal and feel better.

It's the heaven of chiropractor's offices!

Healing Sanctuary

For over the past year, I've been a frequent visitor to West 16th sports chiropractic. Dr. Steve Coniglio, Dr. Prisco, and the other lovely chiropractors at this location are a wonderful and supportive team. This is Dr. Coniglio's office, and he is absolutely amazing. I've been to many chiropractors for sharp upper back, neck, and shoulder pain, and he's by far the best. He really has, well, hands of God! Truly a force of chiropractic nature. I would never consider going anywhere else. The receptionist is also a gem, someone I dearly adore, not just a receptionist but practically a counselor. You really feel as a patient that you are part of the family. They remember your birthday, family and relationships, your work, you name it. They are excellent and flexible in terms of payment, and really work with you. Not only do you get chiropractic treatment in a visit, but you also get excellent physical therapy. Run, don't walk, and cure any aches and pain you've been getting from your laptop, phone, scoliosis, you name it....

Hidden Gem

West 16th Sports Chiropractic is a hidden gem, from the receptionist to the doctors - a practice that excels in both customer service and its core function of treating people.

The entire staff is extremely polite, accommodating, and truly genuine in all communications.

Throughout my sessions, the doctor answered all of my inquiries with enough detail that made me fully understand the issue I had and how the therapy would help me to overcome it.

Nice people, skilled doctors

I have been suffering from a herniated disc in my lower back for the past 7 years and have seen orthopedic surgeons, chiropracters, and physical therapists. When I had another painful flare up I was desperate for help. During my first appointment with Dr. Coniglio I was so grateful at how much time he spent talking to me about my injury and examining not only my back but the rest of my body as well. He informed me that pain in my ankles and knees were also from my back. But the most amazing part was that the very day I walked out of his office in only a fraction of the pain I was in when I limped in. In the next two weeks I was better than I had been in the past 7 years. Dr. Coniglio and the rest of the doctors really understand the back and back injuries. They don't just blindly adjust you- they take into consideration so many other things. I ask them tons of specific questions and they always have knowledgeable and informative answers. As if this isn't enough, all the doctors and staff are the loveliest people you will ever meet. I never find myself not wanting to go in for an appointment because I am met by such genuinely nice people upon arriving and always have such great conversations. These people will really take care of you. They truly want you to get better and are very accomodating in working with you regading payment. The cozy basement office on a brownstone lined street and the powerful massage chair in the waiting room are just icing on the cake. I never knew that my pain could be alleviated to this extent and I take such comfort in knowing that my condition will continue to be managed by such incredible professionals.

The Best Healing hands

I'm so happy I came to West 16th Sports Chiropractic I was having pain in my neck, lower back and slight pain in right hip I don't mind going to my doctor but I didn't want to get pills for the pain. Coming here helped me by working with my body naturally. All of the doctors and staff are wonderful and I am so thankful for their help. It is so great to be able to back my car out of the driveway without the severe pain that I had in my neck before treatment. My lower back pain is almost gone now too. I plan to continue my treatment at West 16th Sports Chiropractic to keep my back well. Thanks Dr.Steven Conoglio ,Dr.Greg Patane and all the staff at the office. I really appreciate all you have done for me.

I've been seeing chiropractors for about 8 years. I've visited male and female practitioners in New Jersey, Long Island and others in New York City. Dr. Steven Coniglio practice (West 16th sport Chiropractic) is by far the best I've ever experienced. Dr. Coniglio genuinely cares about his patients and their overall well-being and he provides thoughtful, specific and individual care each time you visit. His attention to detail sometimes astounds me, especially in comparison to some practices which doesn't make you feel like part of them.

There may be other chiropractors out there who are similarly talented (I've experienced other good ones), but this office's whole package is noteworthy. The office displays a keen attention to detail and takes your care seriously...all with a good sense of humor and pleasant attitude. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, you are well-taken care of. Everyone is friendly and works diligently to provide the best service--from the adjustment, to the massage (Deep tissue massages on Saturdays), to handling logistics such as scheduling and insurance/payment.

Dr. Steven and his very excellent staff has, on numerous occasions, go out of their way to accommodate me and to make sure I am getting the care I need.

I can not sing enough praise for this office.

Miracle Worker aka Marathon Saver

I never write reviews, but I'm the guy that always reads them, so I thought I'd pay things back. In short, Dr Coniglio, Dr Craig and the rest of his amazing staff are nothing short of miracle workers. I've been training for the marathon for 14 weeks when the worst thing imaginable happens...I get seriously injured. I was running a long training race and all of sudden I experienced terrible pain in my hip and lower back...by the end of the run I couldn't even walk. In a panic, with only 4 weeks to go and my marathon hopes fast fading away, I go see Dr Steve and crew. After a long session with the Dr on what my problems (and I do use it in plural form) are, they started working on me. Within a week I was back to running again, and within 2 weeks, i was back on my marathon schedule. I can honestly say that without Dr Steve and Dr Craig, I wouldn't be getting ready to run 26.2 miles in a couple of weeks. They're office is very well run, very clean, professional, and VERY relaxing. I would highly recommend W 16th Chiropractic to anyone.

Best Chiropractor Ever

I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Coniglios for about the past 9 years. Before starting at his office I was treated by several different chiropractors throughout the years and am extremely happy with West 16th Sports Chiropractic.

I highly recommend Dr. Steve as well as any of the other Doctors he has working in the office. I have complete trust in the care I am given in his office and know that whether I am being treated by Dr. Steve or one of his other doctors I will be in great hands. I know that not only would he hire only excellent, very competent Doctors, but he then teaches, trains and develops them in his unique, very effective style of Chiropractic.

I have had several different issues with various areas of my body, and no matter what, I always leave West 16th in some level of an improved condition, then when I arrived. I just can not say enough great things about Dr. Steve or the wonderful energy of his office.

ALWAYS the BEST in NYC! Education, Experience, Knowledge! Amazing relaxing Environment!

WEST 16th SPORTS CHIROPRACTIC has treated thousands of people: actors, athletes, body builders, dancers, flight attendants, office workers, business owners, diplomats and professionals from the NY metro area as well as around the world. Giving our patients the best chiropractic care in combination with physical therapy and specialized techniques developed by me. As a result we have developed an excellent reputation and nearly all of our patients are from direct referral from other patients, doctors, health clubs and most astonishing internationally (Europe, Australia and Japan). Over the twenty years in practice I have hired and trained 15 excellent chiropractors. I am happy to say all of who has left the office to start their own successful practice.

To answer the question: What happened to Dr Peterson? Dr Peterson signed a contract to work at West 16th Sports Chiropractic seeing patients from this office for one year with the intention of being a partner practicing at this office location. Over the years time he has proven to be smart businessman, an excellent chiropractor, and patients grew to know and love him. I enjoyed him being in the office and was looking forward having him as a partner. I was in taken back and dumbfounded when he gave me a letter stating that he decided not to be a partner. Now I understand that he is now practicing just a few blocks away.

I will continue to strive to give patients the best care possible along with a sincere caring staff. Your health is our number one priority!
