Make sure you make a reservation for this top NYC brunch place. They have amazing melt-in-your mouth Mexican churros and hot chocolate (the best I've ever had), and an extensive menu that works for me (a vegetarian) and my husband (a serious meat eater). The service was attentive but not too much so, and the food was fabulous.

Pros: Great homey food

Cons: Always busy and booked for Sunday brunch

came last wknd, a group of 6 of us had rsvps for 11, when it opens. when we got there at 11, there was already a bunch of people waiting for it to open! anyways, we were seated promptly, our waitress was attentive, and the food was great! each of us got a diff dish and everyone liked what they had....i dont remember all, but the strawberry pancakes, mexican omelette thing, and my egg omelette with cherry tomatoes and riccotta cheese were so good. i think someone else had the fried chicken and ate it to the bone. all in all a nice brunch place to chill with friends/family/date in a nice area close to shopping SoHo. would recommend it!

Pros: food, service, ambience

Cons: none

This place is great for brunch and dinner - the food is exceptional and affordable and the bloody mary's are amongst the best in the city.

The brunch is not that expensive as some may think. The atmosphere is extremely clean and professional. The staff was phenomenal.

I went with my wife and 6 month old for brunch. People there were so nice and we didn't have a reservation. The wait was about 30 minutes and we had a great table in the center next to the water fountain. Service was top notch and food was great!

I have been going to Five Points for years and have never been disappointed. The menu has something to please all tastes and moods. Their burger is one of the best in town. Their use of seasonal ingredients keeps the specials always interesting and the chef has that light, full flavored touch that I miss from my days in Italy. Keep up the good work guys!

Pros: best burger

I came to Five Points today anxious to indulge in the brunch which boasts to be the best. As many say, the food is probably the best brunch in NYC, in quality and selection. However, I'd like to warn all as I had an unfortunate experience at the front door before I was ever seated. Although we came with reservations, big appetites, and in good spirits, our plans were quickly trampled on by the abrupt, dismissive manner of the young, blond woman at the front stand (maitre d' or perhaps manager--too bad I was too offended to ask for her name). Our table wasn't ready as promptly as we were, which is fine, but to be told that so condescendingly and unprofessionally truly sets the mood for a foul meal from the get go. The only thing she knows how to communicate is a false smile and a white lie of a "short wait". Then, as we waited in the crowded bar area, I witnessed her talk down to all of the other customers who checked in after me, as well as an unnecessarily harsh and impatient tone with her colleages. We tried not to let this woman's bad day or lifetime of bad attitude ruin our meal, but it is hard to believe that both she and the server--who was young, adorable and beyong cheerful--actually work in the same establishment. That said, the food was impeccible (must have the churros!) and once seated and away from the miserable lady, the service was excellent. I can't wait to go again and recommend this place to friends--on the SOLE condition that I know for sure that that woman won't be there to yell at me upon my arrival. Note to management: Fire the blond maitre d' and give a raise to the rest of your staff! Thanks for the delicious meal.

Pros: Delicious food and great wait staff

Cons: Terrible Maitre D and a bit of a wait

I met some friends here for dinner on a Sat evening. I was a bit hesitant, knowing Saturday nights can be loud at New York eateries. My friends and I were hugely impressed with this place. It combines what's rare at many restaurants in NYC: great food, excellent service, stylish scene, comfortable noise level and charm! Yes, awesome wine list and specialty house cocktails. Great place to take your parents or a date to.

Beautifully decorated for the Holiday and the price seemed quite reasonable for the dinner. I had the lobster salad and the turkey and the apple crisp. 2 of us spent about 180 bucks including tip for a really nice thanksgiving dinner. I would definitely go again for another meal. I've saved it to my list!

Pros: Great Food! Good Price!

Cons: None
