Amazing bands at this bar on Bleecker!

Went barhopping last week and ended up seeing these really good bands at Kenny's Castaways. Ifyou want to rock out (also there were a bunch of cute guys hanging out) go there on Wednesday, I think the same acts are plaYING. Also, everybody in there were partying like hell, it was almost like aprivate party and NO cover charge! I will definitely be back this week!

• Pros: Live music, great crowd, cute bartenders,cute guys in bands!!!
• Cons: Nothing

$3 club soda

for all the talk about "cheap drinks" and this place being an all around good value, i went one night to hear a friend's band play. liked the place, liked the bands, liked the staff.....

taking a post new year's break from drinking, i was having club sodas that night, and being charged $3 for them!!!

Best Bar in Manhattan??

I've never had a bad experience here. The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are cute girls / enormously entertaining Irish men, and the bands always sound incredible. The whole place reeks of an honest legitimacy hard to find in Manhattan these days. It's a great place to meet girls or guys, as there are always semi-intoxicated single people stumbling around in here, looking for love. The crowd is never snobby, pretentious or rude - just good people having a good time; it's a very welcoming and comfortable hangout. Definitely worth mentioning was the super hot redheaded waitress (legal?), who deserves to be tipped very well. Did I mention the sound was phenomenal?

• Pros: Good Sound, Good Drinks, Bountiful Cleavage
• Cons: Only open 7 days a week...

Worth A Trip on the PATH Train

The other night my boys decided to do the Bleecker Street bar hop like we try to do once a week. We made the usual stops but were drawn into Kenny's by the music we heard when we walked by. The drinks were cheap and we drank our fill of jager-bombs and rocked out. Kudos on the sassy bartenders and the hot redhead barely-legal looking waitresses. We've been back as much we can as it's a short stumble to the PATH train on 9th Street. I'd recomend sitting down and getting your drinks sent to you, so you can the bands better.

Kenny's Puts the You-Know-What in Class

Contrary to what David thinks, Kenny's doesn't seem to be a great place to meet women--most of them are with dates or the girlfriends of the band. It is, however, full of cute single guys that are easy to meet while listening to some pretty decent music. The best part just might be the tall soundguy--not only does he mix the sound well, he has a great smile. And plenty to smile about, with that nice butt!

• Pros: lots of beers, great waitress service
• Cons: the occasional creepy guy

Great Place to meet women

A really cool place, tons of beers and great live music almost everynight. The cover is always cheap and there really is no dress code so dont be scared to wear your favorite sweatpants. But like i said in the title, there are lots women there, so a nice shirt is suggested if you want to meet one of them. They are all pretty laid back, and usually drunk, so i say give kennys a try if you A. want to get drunk B. want to meet women C. listen to great music D. Both a and b or E. all of the above.

oh and the service is good, fully staffed with pretty women

amazing music scene

I went to Kenny's the other nite with friends and the music was incredible, there was an acoustic singer on stage who blew me away. We stopped in for a drink after work and stayed for several hours. The staff was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They seemed to take pride in the place and in the music. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely and highly reccomend Kenny's to anyone and everyone. Thank you Kenny's. PS Did you know Kenny's has been around for 40 years???

Good drinks....great music

I never went to Kenny's while I was at NYU. Last week I went in and was greeted by great music for $5 and all a bartab of 40$. This palceis great out of towners, first dates and just any night you're looking for a good time...

Always a great time!

This place is always packed with interesting people and usually decent music.

The drink prices seem standard, service is fast and reliable.

Waitresses never miss a beat, and the new younger looking girl they just got has a killer butt!

Go check it all out!
