Let me start by saying that she is a good cosmetic derm, but the office (or spa) is run like a factory. Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for a long time, then in one of the treatment rooms for what seems like an eternity. You will get exactly 2 seconds of her attention, so I wouldn't go with an actual medical condition. This is about Botox, lasers and fillers. Her staff are very pushy and pressure patients to spend extra, buy products etc. I am sure this is a very profitable way to run a business, but I won't be going back.
Pros: she is good
Cons: the whole ordeal is ridiculous

I went to Soho Skin and Laser on the recommendation of a good friend. She looks great, much better than her actual age, and I wanted to know where she went for... help. She sent me to Dr. Polis. I was a Botox virgin, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The staff was very friendly, and the doctor's assistant answered all of our question, and even offered some advice... saying that Dr. Polis is expensive, but that she personally liked her 'technique.' It didn't come off as a sales pitch, in fact, just the opposite. She basically confirmed that you're paying for the best, but could get it for a lot cheaper somewhere else. Just google Dr. Laurie Polis. Some pretty impressive articles come up, and her affiliations are top notch. Not to mention some celebrity gossip. The only problem... it was too easy! The environment makes you want to spend money (they have a full, beautiful medispa). I walked out having shot 1200 dollars into my face, in less than 15 minutes (I had to run to a meeting, they by no means rushed me out), and I could have easily done a lot more damage to my wallet. Like I said, I was a virgin, and I don't have anything to compare it to... but for a first-timer, it was a good experience.

Cons: Too easy to spend money, some wait

excellent intelligent approachable physician and staff. i left feeling good, with reassurance and looking ten years younger. reasonable fees and willing to work with you. i have not gotten such individual attention at any doctors office in my life.
Pros: worth the wait
Cons: a bit of a wait. but i got my quota of attention in the end
