Shuffleboard!!!

I came here with some buddies on a Friday night. Love the atmosphere. It was nice out so they opened up the front windows to let in the breeze, we played shuffleboard while we drank. The burgers here are awesome for soaking up all the alcohol. ;) Talk to the bartender, he's an interesting guy.

• Pros: Shuffleboard, relaxed atmosphere, doesn't get too crowded

This is the best dive bar in the city. If you go just a few times you will get to know all the regulars and you'll be welcomed everytime. Ask Richy or the owner Billy to teach you how to play shuffleboard and you'll be hooked. I'll see you there!

Best Blaydn pub this side of the liffey!

This place is deadly, the business. No pretensions, occasional live music, the most insanely grafiti'd bathroom ever, so cool as to be art, brilliant service, hiilarious regulars and a good time to be had by all.. If I ever get home sick for Ireland, I know now I can find birds of a feather in Nancy Whiskey. A must for anyone with a decent head on them.

A great place to hang out, have a few drinks and still have some cash in your pocket when you leave! Definitely one of the best in NYC----many, many cheers to "Evil Eye" the bartender----we'll be back when we're in town next!!

Don't go any further than this little alcoholic's dream joint! Careful, no one ever goes just once.

I was skeptical my first time too, until I realized that $8 pitchers, shuffleboard, and a bartender who should have his own TV show (on the sci-fi channel) make for a perfect morning, afternoon, or evening of drinks with good friends, or drinks with soon-to-be friends, or drinks with yourself. Great people watching! I mean it. You'll be telling stories you never knew you knew and hearing stories you'll never tell again!

Classic.

Best Bar in Town

If you are tired of the trendy, overly posh, elitist manure that you find in most of the bars/pubs in this town, then Nancy Whiskey's is the place that you need to be. It's got the right atmosphere, the right prices, the right pub food, the right music and the right drinks. Furthermore, Frank, the insane bartender, is a perfect New York character that shouldbe an integral part of any New York visit.

The best dive bar in NYC

It's perfect. Great atmosphere, drink selection, juke box and even shuffleboard. The only thing it isn't is trendy.
