Hey, where are the guys that are supposed to be working here?

This is a truly frustrating neighborhood falafal parlor. The food (at least the vegetarian stuff, anyway) is pretty good and reasonably priced. You'll need to take a valium before ordering, though, because the guys that work the counter don't ever seem to want to hear your order. Each and every time I've been in there they've either ignored my request for a whole wheat pita, or insisted on putting tahini on my order after asking me if I want it and me telling them no, packed my food to go when I told them it was for here, served it to stay when I asked for it go. etc. etc. I'm not even talking about when it's been crowded. It's beyond a language barrier and into some kind of consciousness barrier. You can get just as good food any number of places, so unless you work around the corner like I do, or are into being asked what you want on your sadnwich and not getting it and making a really simple transaction into a a weird exchange of blank stares and repeated instructions, I'd say to skip it.
- Pros: Good baba and hummos; falafel in the shapes of little hearts; the hot suace
- Cons: slack-jawed incompetance at the counter.

twice i ordered lunch for a number of people and it showed up two hours late. when i called the second time i was told my food was not coming and was hung up on. the food arrived two hours late and the delivery boy fought with me saying that i had to pay for it. extremely bad customer service. i will NEVER order from here again and i will suggest to as many people as possible to avoid this resturant
- Pros: none, none, none
- Cons: bad service, mean employees, very late delivery

Usually go here before heading into the Tiger to drown my sorrows. The gyro platter is a win, especially without onions. The gyro sandwich is also decent. Just wish the staff would recognize me. I've eaten there dozens of times.
- Pros: Good cheap food
- Cons: Tables suck, narrow dining area, stay away from fish
