I've been going to this place for a few months now and the service i receive depends on the person i have an appt with. I highly recommend Elizabeth. She knows what she is doing, can wax straight lines, and doesn't cause too much pain. Avoid Maya. She gave me a bikini wax and couldn't make it even for the life of her. She told me to come in the next time with a triangle pre-drawn with a marker. Also, she didn't seem to know where to put her hand while waxing me....not comfortable at all.

Pros: some waxing technicians like elizabeth

Cons: maya, small space

I use to do waxing but my first experience with Eve and Amy this time was the best!!!!!! Amy is multitalented, can do perfect threading as well. Amy is the a very professional and have a great personality. She did awsome non-painful brazilian waxing for me. Nice atmosphere, relaxing music, clean place, democratic prices and skillful Amy-everything that happy client needs. I am the client of Amy for life now. Please make an appointment with her only if you need to do waxing or threading.

This place was recommended by a friend and I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The front desk was so accommodating when I was running 20 minutes late for my appointment because of the horrible rain that started, I also got towels to dry myself off when I walked in soaking wet!!! My waxer took me right away and the wax wasn't as painful as I thought it would be and the best part was that it took her less than 15 minutes to do my brazilian. I will certainly come back in 6 weeks!

Pros: very accomodating, fast, professional, clean

Cons: small rooms

I have had about 5 brazilian waxes and two of them at eve, i was dissapointed by my wax the first time, but i decided to go back and give them another shot. The second was worst than the first. I do not put myself thru that much pain for it to grow back in 10 days. these should last 6-8 weeks but because Maya does not pull most of the hair out by the root, half of it grows back and half of it wont grow back for 6-8 weeks. A brazilian at eve is very expensive and i think it is ridiculous that maya breaks the hair instead of pulling it out, i could get the same result from shaving. I have decided to never go back there, except maybe to show them how stupid my wax looks when half of it is growing back after 10 DAYS! There is also no privacy, the rooms are very very small and Maya will just come in the room while you are exposed.. no paper dress, no curtain, just you in a very small room, very exposed.

Pros: close to my house

Cons: bad value, wax begins to grow back in 7 days because of unskilled staff

I've been going to Eve for bikini waxes for 2 years. I went based on a friend's recommendation of Yola (who recently left). My first few experiences were pretty good. One time the woman doing my wax kept "evening" her lines, taking more and more hair. The end result was having much more hair removed than I had asked for. All in all the service is pretty good... short wait time, fast wax and generally pleasing results. My biggest complaint in the past was how long I was kept on hold (EVERY TIME I CALLED) when trying to make an appointment. I called today and got a voicemail message saying they were on the other line and would call back. I left my name & phone number. An hour later, I called another salon, made an appointment for my lunch hour, paid HALF what Eve charges for a bikini wax, and was on my way. Several hours later, the staff from Eve has still not returned my call. The waxes are pretty good, although they are pretty pricey. The manicures are GREAT-- afordable and durable, mine lasted over a week! If you're ok with the price and you can get through to make an appointment, I've always been happy with the results. To me it's not worth it.

Pros: great manicures, good bikini wax

Cons: staff does not call you back, keeps you on hold for several minutes, high price for bikini wax

The worst spa/experience ever. I had made a 15 min appointment for electrolysis with this lady(I think there is only one who does this service). She decided that she only wanted to work on me for 10min. because that's what I was booked in for(crap). The front desk staff were not that pleasant either but they made some story to cover up for her it seemed. The place was very busy at 6pm. They seem to do very well, and seem to have regulars that go in there. But they deffinnetly are not very friendly nor open to new-comers. I will for sure not be going back there, nor recommending the place. The Soho spa that I go to send me to Eve for the elecrolysis, I will deffinetly give them a buzz, and let them know how bad my experience was. Good Luck!!

Pros: None(according to my experience)

Cons: Not relaxing nor pleasant.

I went to Eve today to get my first brazilian wax, and was scared out of my mind. If you're in my position, (or one of the many positions you'll be in during your wax),and nervous, don't be. Eve was great...I had Xena, and I really recommend her (my friend uses her consistently as well)--she is professional, really sweet, and quite gentle. The place is small, but go during the mid afternoon 1-3 o clock (make an appointment first) and you'll just walk right in. I was actually ten minutes early, but she was ready for me anyways, so I didn't have to wait. It was definitely NOT as bad as people have said it is--and Eve is the place to go! also opt for the sensitive skin wax if you are doing it the first time, pay the extra ten dollars, i think it was worth it...

Pros: fast, professional, relatively painless

Cons: small room

Went to Eve after reading many raves on city search.......had a great first appointment with Maya and had my first Brazilian. She was fast but not too rushed and thorough. Went back for a second appointment and was terribly dissapopointed .Service was hurried and when I got home I found random patches of hair ......to top it off the hair grew back within 2 weeks! I decided to give them another chance since my first experience had been good.Third time not quie as bad a the 2nd but again hair growing back in less that 2 weeks! Now Ive been to many salons and that is just unnacceptable. It means that the esthetician is breaking the hair not removing it from the root ,they are too rushed to take the time to do it properly. Never again! Id rather be hair free for 4-6 weeks and pay a bit more! INCONSISTENT

Pros: cheap

Cons: inconsistent service.

I actually went here after reading the rave reviews about Maya...and they were right. She is fast, but gentle and made light of the rather embarassing positions you are put in. There is a sensitive wax that makes the pain tolerable. The cost is also incredible. No extras - just one price that covers it all!

i've been getting brazillians for years, and found Maya at Eve last summer...she's amazing! not only are you in and out in 11 minutes..yes i timed...she's thorough and takes the effort to get to know your personal concerns and you as a person. its silly to say that brazilians are completely painless..hot wax is being yanked off your crotch! but maya is incredibly gentle and doesn't leave you sore afterwards. i love how small this place is! so down to earth and homely. i'll pass on the frou frou places that are usually disappointments. manicures are great as well...mine always last ATLEAST ten days.

Pros: maya, prices, staff..

Cons: all the stupid tourists asking where magnolia bakery is
