THE BEST
by JMekles
Let me start by saying that we live on the West Side, and there are few things more annoying than having to catch a cab back and forth across town, especially when you're holding a pet carrier and thus only one in five cabs will stop for you. In spite of this horror, we still take our three invalid cats to see Dr. Dan. The receptionists are incredibly sweet, know our cats' names, and (most amazingly) actually remember to fax our various prescriptions, referrals, etc. Dr. Dan is THE BEST... He's very caring, very gentle with our boys, and he's so unbelievably generous; he gave us a nebulizer face gadget on the house, and follow-up appointments are always free or extremely cheap, whereas many other vets would charge full price.
Murray Hill treats and boards cats and dogs from the Mayor's Alliance for New York City's animals (a charity for pets rescued from Animal Care & Control), which I think speaks to the quality and integrity of Dr. Dan's practice. Had we not been introduced to them through the Mayor's Alliance, we would have taken our cats to the vet across the street, and we'd never have known about this special place.
Best Attention from a Vet's Office Ever‎

I'm probably every vet's nightmare: the too-attached cat owner. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Dan. He has been absolutely wonderful with my 15-year-old cat who had suddenly taken a bad turn. He really spent time with her and called me with updates regularly. Eve and Joan at the front desk have been great too, with suggestions and compassion. Everyone there helped make the best of a rough situation and now seem just as happy as I am that she's doing better.
Dr Nulton is awesome

My dog has been a patient of Dr. Nulton's prior to her joining Murray Hill Pet Hospital several years ago. She is the best vet I've ever had - and as pet owners know, finding a vet whom you can trust completely is a daunting task - so we didn't even think twice about following her to this practice.
She is compassionate, knowledgeable & is honest about what treatments / shots are absolutely necessary. I left NY a few years ago for grad school & found an alternate vet (whom I despise); I've called Dr. Nulton for 2nd opinions & she promptly called me back every time. I always felt like she had my dog's best interest at heart.
