excellent service with a philanthropic bent

We first discovered Galleria on 3rd when we lived in the neighborhood and wanted quality framing That was almost 15 years ago. Since then, despite a move to a different part of the city , we continue to bring our items for framing to Shadin. His work is excellent - not just the framing itself but the guidance he gives concerning it. Moreover, his involvement with several charitable organizations is commendable. He's staged shows to benefit these non-profits and is an outstanding advocate for the children who benefit. We highly recommend Galleria on 3rd and will continue to use it for all our framing needs.

Galleria on Third does an excellent job of framing. They listen to what you are looking for and offer really great suggestions. I have had several items framed here and have had a really good experience every time. Friendly staff too.

I was doing a little window shopping one night when I spotted a piece of artwork in this store. The store was closed but employee behind the counter was an extremely friendly man named Shadin and he opened the gallery to let me in. Shadin was extremely knowledgable (and, as it turns out, the owner) and he was able to give me quite a bit of information about the artist and the piece I was looking at. As it turns out this particular artist, Romero Britto, is very selective in the galleries he allows to sell his work and Galleria and Third is one of the few places in NYC that you can buy his work,
The piece I wanted to buy was very large and very heavy and I live in Boston. I was extremely concerned about how he could effectively ship this to me. Shadin assured me he could ship this product safely and quickly. I reluctantly paid for the piece and sure enough 2 days later the piece arrived by UPS in perfect condition.
It is an absolute pleasure working with a business this reliable and knowledgable. I would highly recommend stopping by and seeing what they are showcasing in their studio, You will do more that simply buy a piece of art-you will develop a friendship.

We went to Galleria on Third to frame several portraits from a family photo shoot. Shadin gave us great suggestions on frames and was such a pleasure to work with. The result truly exceeded our expectations. The pictures are now hanging in our home (he even gave us a very handy tool to make sure we were hanging the pictures well) and we're so thrilled with the way they came out. We highly recommend Galleria on Third and will be back!

Galleria on Third has exceded our expectations. They created a unique frame for us that we designed that other framing stores wouldn't attempt to make. They take time to work with you to make sure you are going to get what you want. They are very friendly and welcoming. Shadin has been a pleasure to work with!

I have used Galleria on Third to frame several pieces for my office and apartment. They have always been extremely helpful and have done an excellent job in framing each of my pieces. I have recommended their services to many friends, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful and artistic framing at a reasonable price.

Galleria on Third does beautiful, creative work - Shadin is so very helpful and generous with his time and ideas. His craftsmanship is superior. I can't imagine going anywhere else to have my art work framed. And, he is an outstanding individual, supporting several important charities through benefits he holds at Galleria.

We were looking for a good place to frame our art, without spending ridiculous amounts that other galleries were charging, and luckily found Shadin at Galleria on Third. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! This place is awesome, and they know exactly what they are doing. I trust Shadin so much now, that I always seek his input before framing anything. Not only will he take very good care of your stuff, but he gives you free ideas (which are awesome!) and makes excellent recommendations! He delivers on time, and is very accommodating to every single detail and request. He goes out of his way to please his customers-- which is so different from other places-- anywhere else I've gone, if I just had one painting they spoke to me like they were doing me a favor. No project is too small or too complicated for him. He's even kept the store open late for me once because I wanted to pick up something and was late getting to the store (and I had been to him only once before!) What's even more amazing is that he gives a portion of his proceeds to charity. I would recommend this place highly-- you get treated well, get great recommendations, great value for your money, excellent service, on time delivery and aren't over-charged at all. I will never go anywhere else to get stuff framed, and have recommended him to my friends and colleagues at work. Go to Galleria on Third and ask for Shadin-- you won't regret it!!

Shadim , owner of Galleria on Third, has done work for my family and for my firm . His prices are excellent and his work is superior.
Shadim has been framing for my wife and I since we moved to NYC four years ago. He has located and framed fine art prints as well as posters. My company recently moved and Shadim provided 20+ framed pieces of artwork. All items were delivered on time and within the budget.
In addition to doing excellent work , Shadim is a committed to providing good support for many charitable causes thru his "art shows for charity". He and his whole family are terrific folks and we enthusiastically recommend them.
