Rodent in my room

Saw a rodent run across my room last night at this hotel. The front desk gave me a new room, but did not even offer to help me with my luggage as I switched rooms at Midnight!! In addition even my new room has a sticky rodent trap in it.

Avoid until they find a good exterminator!!

Welcoming apartment-style units in quiet Murray Hill.

The Scene
Close to The Morgan Library in a 1920s building, this hotel was acquired by Affinia in 1968. In earlier days, Fred Astaire played miniature golf on its roof and Big Bands played the ballroom. Today, the place has slightly lss cachet and substantially more practicality. The lobby--with its marble fireplace, antique clocks and crystal chandeliers--still welcomes guests in style.

The Details
The 264 suites with separate sleeping and living areas have fully equipped kitchens and such additional amenities as iron/ironing boards, safes and hair dryers. Some also have terraces. Dual-line phones are found in one- and two-bedroom suites, where the focus is on family conveniences, meaning space and easy-to-cook-in kitchens. Grocery shopping service is available, and there's a full health club on the premises. The new Rare Bar & Grill serves a selection of gourmet burgers.
