A friendly atmosphere and staff based in the quaint murray hill neighborhood

fine clean and attractive rooms with views

near excellent restaurants including domenicos there own restaurant fine italian dining

great bar and a nice place to meet interesting new people

always a pleasure to come back

i stay there 3 times a month and has turned into my home away from home

• Pros: convenience to office restaurants other attractions
• Cons: need better cable system

Near Grand Central, Kitchen, will treat you right!

.. I discovered this hotel from an English bloke. Many tourists stay here. Wonderfully close to Grand Central which makes it s superb business hotel (leave your luggage while you go out!) and all destinations are easy. People are terrific at the hotel, will go out of their way, very friendly. Corporate Agreements are available. Rooms have a kitchen - microwave, refridge .. nice ammendities including creme rinse and shower gel! Many rooms are suites if requested. Nice to walk Park Avenue ~ when I am in the city, this is where you will find me!

Home Away From Home

For the past year and one half, I have stayed at the Hotel Bedford 4 nights per month on business and I feel very much at home. The rooms are always clean and everyone on their staff is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious and the suites are especially nice. Being in midtown only 2 blocks from Grand Central is definitely a plus! After work, I enjoy a glass of wine at the charming restaurant next door where

the locals and young woman behind the bar welcome you with open arms!

• Cons: bed linens could be nicer

Great Location, Nice Clean Rooms

I have been staying at the Hotel Bedford several nights a year for 3 years now. The hotel staff is always very friendly and efficient, the rooms are always clean, and comfortable, and the restaurant connected to the hotel is a very nice convenience. Initially I chose the Hotel Bedford for its location, but now it is much more than just the location, but the location is fantastic.

This 58-suite, 77-room hotel is a home away from home. It appeals to those who are staying a while. The place is conveniently located for Grand Central Station access as well as for Fifth Avenue shopping. It has all the amenities of a full-service hotel--concierge, bell desk, friendly and accessible staff--with the reasonable pricing of a condominium.

The Details
Unusual for Manhattan-area accommodations, the hotel offers such amenities as fully equipped kitchenettes, coin-operated washers and dryers and iron/ironing boards. The large rooms are also equipped with cable TV, data port phones, in-room safes and hair dryers. Domenico's serves Italian and continental cuisine. Monthly packages are available.

Just like an NYC apartment...

My boyfriend and I decided to stay in NYC for the weekend and we absolutely loved this place! It was located in a beautiful neighborhood and our room was exactly like an apartment in the city (one which we could never afford!) We stayed in a suite which was complete with a living room and a kitchenette - perfect for drinks and food! When we ended our night, we were able to come back to the room and relax on the couch - MUCH nicer than a one room hotel room! It wound up being a gorgeous weekend and the hotel provided luggage storage so we were able to leave our bags after we checked out and roam the city! The staff was wonderful - very friendly! I would recommend this place to everyone ( I already have!) and we will definitely stay there again!
