My boyfriend and I stopped in NYC while driving from Upstate NY to our home in North Carolina so that we could walk around Central Park. We parked our rental minivan at a Rapid Park garage on 72nd street for less than 3 hours and were charged an outrageous $58. They charged us the extra $10 SUV fee b/c it was a minivan, what a rip off!
Pros: Good location
Cons: They're over-priced

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Rapid Park is not only one of the most expensive garages around but also one of the worst. After parking there for 8 years, an attendant was belligerent, cursed at me and told me I couldn't park there. I had to call the police in order to park my car. I've left Rapid Park and now they are trying to bill me for 2 months after leaving. (They will also ruin your car and not pay for the damage.) DONT USE RAPID PARK!! They're crooks!!!

If you're thinking of parking at a Rapid park facility on a monthly basis, stay away. They promise you the world, and don't deliver. I asked them if i left mid-month, would i get my half my money back, and they said "of course". Well after waiting 2 months I finally called, and was informed in no uncertain termsd, NO WAY. They refuse to return my money. STAY AWAY
