Having made the decision to terminate my pregnancy, I found it a near impossible project to locate a doctor that would help me through the process. Since I was in early stages of pregnancy I wanted to go for the medical termination. I finally found a doctor using my insurance provider website but the experience turned out very shady. She wanted me to pay everything upfront (even though I had insurance that would cover the procedure) and instead of explaining to me how the process would work, just wanted the money and give me the medicines. Also the medicines and number of tablets she was talking about did not correspond with what I had learnt about medical termination. I decided to walk out. Parkmed turned out be the answer to all my worries. People are very professional and know their job. Everything was explanined step by step with precautions and risks involved. I wasn't looking for any counselling so cannot comment on the other review. But I felt totally safe and knew that I will be well taken care of. I would highly recommend this clinic.

After being faced with the very difficult decision of terminating a pregnancy, the least you expect is a facility that is concerned and caring. Parkmed is clearly not that facility. I went in and the staff, despite thier efforts to smile, really were not paying attention to a word you say. They give you instructions as if they were reading a script and are trying to rush as many people as they can to get checked in. Then to make matters worst, the person who was responsible for assesing my medical history wanted to rush and interrupted me a few times as I read the disclaimer that you are asked to sign, clearing them of any wrong doing. When I told her I wanted to read it thouroughly she seemed aggitated and just sat back and stared at me as I finished. The girls in the lab, at least the one I got stuck with seemed inexperienced and could not find my vein, after several attempts my arm was very sore. She did not apologize for her inexperience and for the pain she caused me. This place has really managed to turn what I deem is a very difficult and private matter to a woman, into an assembly line of procedures. Even the counselors were not very warm and friendly. Although she did answer my questions, she did so in manner that made feel as if she had other patients to attend to. I am not familiar with the way these clinics are run, but I would think that more care would be given to the patients considering how difficult and scary the experience is. Needless to say, I left without going through with the procedure. I felt uncomfortable and insecure about the kind of treatment this facility would provide. Clearly my well being is not their priority. Please do your research before going to this place.
Pros: Location convenience
Cons: Uncaring staff, inexperienced staff and poor customer service.
