Maybe a year or two ago, women's shirts and men's shirts were both 3 for $189. Within the past year, they've raised the price on men's shirts to 3 for $199, and women's shirts to 2 for $149, hoping no one would notice that the rate of increase on women's shirts was over 18% while for men's shirts it was only 5%. This is pretty outrageous on their part especially considering how much more material goes into making a men's shirt in comparison to a women's shirt. Did they think women wouldn't be smart enough to figure out this blatantly sexist pricing?

I have to say Brooks always provides a pleasant shopping experience. The clothes are well made, not the best in the workd albeit, but well made nonetheless. The service is tops and the value overall is excellent. I believe Brooks has done a great job at walking the line between traditional and contemporary and enjoy shopping at the Madison ave store the most. The staff is the best Take some time and enjoy the great shopping experience Brooks on Madison has to offer.
Pros: Atmosphere, selection, service
Cons: Certain pricing,

If you need to impress a client, admissions officer or employer and have several hundred dollars with which to do it, Brooks Brothers is pretty much the first place to go. Brooks Brothers has made itself into the quintessential store for conservative clothing and prides itself on guiding young men on their path towards becoming gentlemen. If you're young, the clothes will be very boring. If you're a bit older, you'll realize just how impressive those really, really boring clothes are. Thanks Brooks Brothers.

It's kind of a throwback, Brooks Brothers, this overstaffed bastion of conservative dressers. Suits are moderately well made -- although with nearly every suite I buy the cuffs fall down within a month -- and shirts are a good deal. One of the great inventions of the Post War era is their all cotton no-iron shirts. Fantastic for traveling.
