AMAZING!

by veronawall

I have been a customer at Mi Nadito for over 10 years now and when I'm in the City, it is my "go to" restaurant!

Tucked away along 8th avenue, it is one of Hell's Kitchen's little treasures.

Always serving up the freshest food and pouring the best margaritas in town - do yourself a favor and head over there tonight.

And ask for PK, you'll be happy ya did!

MARGARITAS

by ajubamil

The margaritas whether on the rocks or frozen RULE!!! The food is also great. I first came here with a friend who knows the owner. The prices are pretty (NYC standard) the food and portions are great. If you come around happy hour, it is loud and extremely crowded, but the prices are great.

  • Pros: margaritas
  • Cons: small dining and bar area

good food, great staff

by chefvanessa

I went today feb 23 for lunch. I was at the bar. The food was fast, and the bartender Antonio was very nice and friendly. I had the burrito lunch special served with rice and beans and a little salad, there was a free bean soup which was Ok, and free soda. He brought me nachos and salsa -the salsa was very tasty. The prices are great for the amount of food. I tried the strawberry margarita and was very good. I will definitely bring my friends here for a girls night out to get some margaritas.

I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great food, service and margaritas!

by MyAngel66

My husband and I really enjoy coming to this restaurant: Excellent food, service and overall experience. We moved here from California and thought there were no places with good Mexican food on the East Coast, but this place definitely proved us wrong! Everything is fresh and made-to-order and it has that true Mexican atmosphere. And for those who are wondering... the margaritas are awesome!

  • Pros: Great food - real Mexican food!
  • Cons: none

Love this place!!

by MFD14534

Any time I am in mid town Manhattan I try to visit Mi Nidito. I probably have eaten here 10 times over the last 5 years and it is great every time. It isn't authentic mexican food, it is more like California Mexican. The menu is huge and they have many vegan vegiterian selections.

The ambiance isn't anything to write home about, but it is clean. The service is friendly and fast.

Prices are high, buy hey, you are in Manhattan. I bet you the rent is pretty steep.

Mi Nidito has been here for at least 5 years and that in it self is a testament for a restaurant in Manhattan!

  • Pros: GREAT FOOD, large selection, vlarge egetarian menu
  • Cons: None!

Good food - Litlle over price

by luisa22

Food is actually good. Beens are different (in a good sense). Would not call it authentic Mexican but the taste is good.

I find the prices a little too hight for what it really offers. Not sure if it will stay in business for long since "chipotle" just opened a branch literally next door.

Frozen margaritas are a must try!

Waste!

by deyolm

Walking up to the restaurant I was nervous because of the fading old storefront signs and cheesy logo, but we marched in anyway with hopes of the food proving itself worthy. Oh no. We tried the bar lunch menu which is supposed to be cheaper but is actually way too much money for what you get. The place smells like garbage, the bar smells like cleaner and the food looks and smells like your summer camp cafeteria. The 'free' soup is beans, the side dishes are beans and the teeny burritos and chimichangas have no meat inside and taste similar to the Lean Cuisine version. The margarita is okay and you'll probably get excited with the real fruit in the strawberry and raspberry versions, but you might as well have gotten a smoothie instead because there's zero alcohol in these suckers.

Very disappointing!! :(

by kmstence

I was really excited to try one of the overhyped margarita's, but was extremely disappointed in the drink when it arrived. It was barely cold, too sweet and tasted like it didn't have any tequila at all. for $11+ a drink, it was really disappointing. The food. The portions were decent for the price, but I asked for a side of hot sauce to accompany my dish and was served a sweet garlic chili sauce instead. This place is definately not worth the money or the effort to get there.

  • Pros: Food OK
  • Cons: Margarita's Stink!

The strawberry frozen margaritas are the best - real strawberries. The food is always fresh and tasty. It's sometimes a bit loud, but is a reliable place for a good meal. In the winter, the taco soup is the best - pretty spicy, with lots of veggies. As good or better than what Mom made.

Best Margaurita in New York fresh food

by patty1

MiNiditos is the best place to get a Marguarita. It is smooth and strong. I have been going to MiNiditos for at least 10 years recommending it to my friends, especially woman friends, as a place you can go alone or with friends to relax and enjoy a healthful Mexican menu with the freshest ingrediants and the best Marguarity you will find in many states.

  • Pros: great drinks, great food, friendly atmosphere
  • Cons: small restaurant, go early Fridays
