Way better service
by zsuzsa33953
After less-than-admirable srervice a number of months ago, it seems that this FedEx/Kinko's has had some positive changes. On my last 2 visits there, employees really helped me out.
Once, when trying to send something online to be printed and the server was down - a gentleman who worked there told me to email it directly - and sure enough, the job was done perfectly and very fast!
Another time, a woman who was sweeping kindly showed me how to work the self-service copier....again, things actually WORKED out well! Bravo!
- Pros: better service
- Cons: let's hope it lasts
Find plenty of copying, printing and shipping services for everything from business proposals to school projects.

In Short
The ubiquitous copy center has grown over the years into a diverse hub of business resources. Customers can copy and print documents, as well as create business cards, posters, brochures and photos from digital files. FedEx Kinkos also sells packing and shipping supplies and offers a wide array of FedEx shipping services. Many stores even have wireless Internet service and videoconferencing, and all locations have computer stations and CD reproduction services.
Work Station Environment Better than Other Kinkos
by ellie202
Although it's far from perfect, I like this Kinko's better than others I've been to in midtown east and the Upper West Side insofar as the workstations are concerned. At this Kinkos they do not have rock music blasting in the workstation area and there are quite a few workstations to choose from. Also, since this branch is in a quiet residential area, it is not as frantic in the evening as some of the midtown locations are.
- Pros: Generally quiet and lots of computer workstations to choose from
- Cons: Like most Kinkos in Manhattan, not very good customer service, long wait at checkout
Why not hire a few more people?
by ymadub
The service people I spoke to were nice, but cheesh! Would it kill Kinko's headquarters to splurge for a few more resources? I was there two times and both times wound up being there about 45 minutes with standing in line, etc. for every simple jobs. I felt like it was going to be a riot situation -- people who'd already paid and just needed to pick things up and those that were having equipment problems at self-serve stations were understandably very pissed off about spending their whole afternoon in that madhouse.
horrible staff
by zkameleon
I had to go to this kinkos twice and I will never go back! The staff are the most unhelpful and unknowledgeable people I have ever experienced. The manager is decent and full of patience which is the only hope. I am trying to find another one to go to right now. Why does NYC have the worst kinkos?
user UNfriendly
by zratzman
i wish there were other options in the neighborhood b/c this kinko's location sucks. the folks behind the counter are not just unfriendly, but sometimes downright hostile. i once asked for my receipt and the woman who rang me up rolled her eyes. yeah, my bad. the machines (computers, copiers, automated receipt machine) are frequently out of service, and the self-help work stations are NEVER stocked with necessary items (e.g., staplers, paper clips, white out). speaking of white out, irecently asked for some and the woman behind the counter spent 5 minutes looking for ONE bottle of white out to give me. oh yes, did i mention the complete MAYHEM at the checkout counters? it's a total free-for-all, meaning whether you just want a receipt, to pick up an order, to pay for an order, or to place an order, you are screwed -- prepare for a long wait.
- Pros: good laser printers
- Cons: , unfriendly staff, poorly managed
