Newfound neighborhood favorite

We hadn't gone to this restaurant in ages but it is now one of our favorites. They have a 26.95 prix fixe which is a really good value. The night we went, one of the pf entrees was a plate with a pork chop, a lamb chop, and a small steak. I can't see how they didn't lose

money on it. Potatoes and green beans on the side perfectly browned in garlic. For the second entree we ordered a la carte fish and chips. The portion was literally double what we get at a little cafe in the same neighborhood. The fish was flaky inside and crispy

outside and the fries were perfect. We had enough to take home for 2 more meals. We sat in the glass terrace which was very comfortable in the winter, and looks like it would be ideal for happy hour in the summer.

There weren't a lot of tables the cold night we went,

so the waiter kept coming and asking if we were ok. Our local diners on 1st avenue have been raising the prices on their meal specials to the point that I'd much rather go to Dresner's for a real glass of wine, soup or salad, entree and fresh delicious dessert than

pay 21.95 for diner food, which is often good but not nearly in the same category or portion size.

I love the dark wood walls, fabric tablecloths, and professional waiters. They've added some big screen tvs to attract local sports fans.

Great neighborhood spot

If you live nearby or are ever in the neighborhood do not fail to go to Dresner's. I've never been even a little disappointed in the several times I've been there. The Romanian skirt steak is fantastic, as are the clams in red sauce. My wife and I have always been delighted with everything we've ever ordered here. Go!

Can't Get Enough

I adore this place. My fiance and I go at least once a month -- the staff is wonderful, and the Romanian skirt steak is NOT TO BE MISSED! It is in the top 10 steaks in the city.

Best Neighborhood Restaurant

My husband was so happy when we found this place. The service is terrific and the food is good. The perfect restaurant for a casual meal!
