i bought a chocolate croissant that was completely stale and when i called to mention this they said it was my fault because i picked it out and then hung up on me!

DO NOT USE MICHELLE'S - WHAT A HORROR!

My wife called Michelle's to cater our son's 1st birthday party. She spoke multiple times to the owner, Michelle. She agreed with Michelle on a price and within a week of our party Michelle told my wife that he didn't know what he was thinking and that he couldn't agree to the price. What a dishonest businessman. It was his mistake and he wasn't willing to honor it. In fact, he wanted to charge my wife for ketchup for chicken fingers and fries; what a cheap SOB. My wife then agreed to take 1/3 less food in order to stay within our budget. Two days before the party my wife again spoke to Michelle to confirm our order. We went to Michelle's 45 minutes before our party to pick up the food for 20 kids. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT HAVE THE ORDER THEY WERE UNAPOLOGETIC AND DID NOTHING TO HELP US GIVEN THAT THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE. When I spoke to Michelle (who suddenly didn't have a great grasp of English), he lied and told me that my wife had cancelled the order. My wife spoke to him and recounted every detail of the conversation. We were luckily able to order pizza for the kids but it made a very stressful morning unnecessarily stressful. Michelle wasn't even at his store when we went to pick up the food but I plan to visit him personally to see if he has any legitimate explanation other than being an incompetent business owner BOTTOM LINE, IF YOU NEED A RELIABLE CATERER, STAY AWAY FROM MICHELLE'S.
