A Man's Cigar Oasis
by lee723 at Citysearch
As the title indicates, the Cigar Inn is a man's oasis on several fronts. Not only do they have one of the best selections of cigars in the City, but they also offer a wide selection of men?s products. It's a great place to send your girlfriend, wife or both to buy gifts for you.
In addition, the Cigar Inn features a smoking lounge where you can puff on your favorite tobacco blend while watching sports on their wide screen television. The crowd that frequents this Upper East Side establishment, ranges from brain surgeon, to lawyers, cops, firemen, retirees, professional athletes accountants, stockbrokers, to (very calm) postal workers ...well you get the point.
Gus and Billy, the owners (or Innkeepers) provide their customers with excellent service, and are both very knowledgeable about cigars. The Inn is a great place for the cigar novice to learn about the finer points cigar smoking. There are no other stores in NYC that offer all that the Cigar Inn offers its customers, many of whom have been doing there puffing there since the store opened in 1993.
To be honest, you can find cheaper cigars in the City but you won't find all of the amenities that the Cigar Inn offers. However when it comes right down to it, I don't mind paying a dollar or two more for a cigar when I think about all the Inn offers. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
- Pros: Smoking Lounge, Selection, wide variety of products

It is the best place to relax meditate and concentrate on any level. The aroma of the tobacco is very
intoxicating making one become sensual and bringing you to new heights of awareness. The Cigar Inn is a place that borders on the level of spirituality ,makng it a haven for centering oneself with just one puff of a cigar. After a very stressful day I needed to find an oasis and I came across the Cigar Inn. It was there that I found this jewel of a place. I purchased my first cigar, threw myself on the cozy leather sofa , took off my Manolo shoes and started to puff on Nirvana. This is a place where a woman can feel safe and secure and being a female in a man's cherished domain I felt treasured by their company.
The Cigar Inn allures you and entices you to enter its doors to experience the thrill of a good cigar.
- Pros: great cigars, great company and great men
- Cons: Auau shucks no brunch, no 24/7

One of the last great spots in nyc where you can enjoy a great cigar and good conversation. The owners Billy and Gus know their product well and offer a premium selection not available everywhere!
- Pros: ambience
- Cons: ron gross' football picks
Best Lounge
by neitchy at Citysearch
Cigar Inn is a small place by its size, but warm and welcoming to its customers. You will enjoy the refined atmosphere and relaxing mood there. Here at this different cigar place you can enjoy fine cigars and relaxing jazz music. They are big on collection and carry unique cigars. Their lounge is a replica of your average den. Make you feel you are at home. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always on spot with recommendation on what best to smoke. I enjoy the experience and the relaxed atmosphere. I recommend it for every cigar lover.
- Pros: Geat Amosphere
- Cons: Just if it is little bigger
A corner on the Upper East side Cigar shop market
by vankalin at Citysearch
Great place to go for selection and accesories for a novice or experienced smoker. Decent walk in humidor but the cigars I sampled were barely on the satisfactory side of dry-ish. The owner is an attentive guy. Fair weather has a spot to sit and people watch or discuss you politics. Quite pricey, but what do you expect when they are one of the very few upper east side shops to go to enjoy an inside smoke(or to go to for a cigar, period). Stop by occasionally to keep your bank account in the black, or if you're a real upper east sider, you can light your stogey with a benjamin.
- Pros: selection, location, atmosphere
- Cons: price, price, PRICE
