This place prides themselves on honest, quality work. This couldn't be further from the truth actually. They are very incompetent, lousy and obnoxious people to deal with. Clothes are almost always late and come back looking just Ok. Same work could have been done at any other cleaner in the city. In many cases when I have received my clothes back, they were not cleaned properly at all. I would have to call back again and complain. The customer service is not friendly and NOT customer oriented. They will fight back, not pay attention to you, and almost never return any calls whenever there is a problem. My girlfriend has submitted her coat a week ago. She asked for it to be dry cleaned and linings in her pockets restiched. The coat was cleaned and the pockets were done but all the dirt and grime inside the pockets was never ever cleaned. How could they miss that, when they were starring at it all that time during the stitching. Just shows how incomplete and poor their work "quality" can be. Choose someone else, trust me. You will be better off.

A WHILE BACK THEY LOST 1 OF 10 MEN'S DRESS SHIRTS I HAD GIVEN THEM FOR CLEANING. AFTER DRAGGING ON FOR WEEKS TRYING TO FIND THE MISSING SHIRT - THEY STOPPED CALLING ME BACK & PAYING ATTENTION AS IF I SEIZED TO EXIST. I DROPPED THAT CASE OUT OF FRUSTRATION. SHIRT - NEVER RECOVERED. NOW -THEY HAVE MESSED UP AGAIN!! I GAVE THEM A MEN'S COAT TO FIX THE LINING AND RE-STITCH A BUTTON. THEY SENT IT TO ME BACK WITH LINING DONE IN SOME SAVAGE AND CHEAP WAY, W/STITCHING NOT COMPLETED ALL THE WAY AROUND. THE BUTTON WAS NEVER RE-ATTACHED, MIND YOU. I DECIDED TO GO TO THEIR MIDTOWN LOCATION TO SHOW THEM TO THEIR FACE THE SCREW UPS. I WAS GREETED BY A NASTY, FULL OF ATTITUDE, PRETENTIOUS WOMAN WHO HAS MANAGED TO ARGUE WITH ME TRYING TO PROVE SOMEHOW THAT I AM AT FAULT HERE FOR NOT COMMUNICATING TO THEM EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!! SHE SAID I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED I WANTED THE ENTIRE LINING RE-ATTACHED AND SOWN UP PROPERLY, & BECAUSE I DIDN'T - THEY HAVE ONLY DONE ONE SMALL PART OF IT AND LEFT THE REST A MESS. NOW TELL ME, WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD THINK OF DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT?? WHY WOULD YOU PRIDE YOURSELF ON BEING WORLDS GREATEST GIFT TO MANKIND,CLAIMING THAT YOU DO A METICULOUS INSPECTION PRIOR TO RELEASING THE LAUNDRY ITEMS BACK TO CLIENTS - ONLY TO THEN MAKE A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT LIKE THAT??!! NOT A CALL, NOT A MENTION - NOTHING!!! AFTER AN UPHILL BATTLE WITH THIS RUDE WOMAN THEY FINALLY AGREED TO TAKE MY COAT BACK. THEY PROMISED THAT I WOULD HAVE IT BACK BY FRIDAY. IT CAME ON MONDAY! (AND MIND YOU, THEY WERE OPEN ON SATURDAY AS WELL). AGAIN, NO CALL, NO MENTION. THEY EVEN LEFT A STICKER ON TOP OF THE COVER TO PERHAPS TAUNT ME WITH THE FACT THAT IT WAS DUE FRIDAY ORIGINALLY. I KNOW THAT A FEW DAYS MIGHT SEEM LIKE NOTHING, BUT WHEN THEY PRIDE THEMSELVES ON IMPECCABLE SERVICE, CHARGING OUTRAGEOUS FEE'S FOR THEIR HORRIFIC "WORK" - YOU SHOULD IN FACT EXPECT PROMPTNESS, SHOULDN'T YOU? THEY LOST MY BUSINESS & PEOPLE SHOULD SPREAD THE WORD & NOT USE THEM.

During my wedding reception one of my relatives came over to congratulate me with a big embrace and unfortunately left her bright lipstick on my ivory satin gown. A waiter in the hotel brought me the traditional cure of seltzer to try and help but that only made the stain worse. One of my bridesmaid had brought with them the Madame Paulette stain kit we were given after having our gowns altered by their bridal tailors. Following the extremely simple instructions on which packettes to use for a lipstick stain; in under 5 minutes the lipstick mark was completely gone! Not only did their bridal staff do an excellent job on the alterations on my wedding gown and the bridesmaid gowns but the complimentary stain kit I was given saved my day and the pictures I took afterwards.

I was in New York for my best friend's wedding. As I was getting ready to go meet the bridal party and help her prepare for her big day, I noticed that on my dress I had a stain from the red lipstick I was wearing. In a panic, I called the concierge and they directed me to Madame Paulette. They picked up my dress from the hotel I was staying at and delivered the dress back to me where the wedding was taking place. All this on a Saturday! The dress looked absolutely perfect. I now send them my garments since they ship nationwide but still wish there was a Madame Paulette in Boston.

this place is seriously the best cleaners ever they totaly fixed all of my sweaters that had holes in them because of a freakish moth insident in my closet they restored them back to new they actually reqweaved the fabric i didnt even know this was possible but madame paulette saved me!!!!

Pros: they have services you never even though existed they can literally fix anything

As if an outbreak of moths in my spotlessly kept New York City apartment wasn't upsetting enough , there were holes in many of my favorite sweaters, jackets and pants. To add to that, the overwhelming chemical small from the exterminators pervaded the entire place! Upon the recommendation of a friend, I called Madame Paulette who not only did a thorough interior cleaning and eliminated all the odors - but they also cleaned and repaired all my damaged apparel. Madame Paulette has my full confidence now.

Pros: Fast Service, Very Reliable

This place has to be the worst place ever. For a place that prides themselves on customer satisfaction and that even Donald Trump goes to, they are very uncooperative and stressful to deal with. They do not work with the clients (maybe only unless you're a billionaire do they care about you) and you are better off passing up their exorbitant pricing. Like having to deal with a brick wall.

Pros: NONE

Cons: OVER PRICED, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HEADACHE TO DEAL WITH

I was standing on a crowded #5 train, exhausted, coming home from work. I felt a poke when someone bumped against me, very politely said, excused me. However, I didnt relize until i was getting undressed later that night, there was a pen line down the back of my light gray Christian Dior blazer. In addition, the pen tip must have snagged the fabric creating a small rip. Not only did Madame Paulette completely eliminate the ink spot but they were also able to expertly repair the rip. To the human eye, the blazer looks as good as new!

Perhaps enjoying my lunch with the girls a bit too much, I unfortunately spilled an entire glass of red wine on my Ecru Crepe Giorgio Armani pant suit. I immediately rushed to my regular dry cleaner who said there was nothing he could do. I then ran to several other establishments in my neighborhood but none of them could guarantee any results. Finally in desperation, I was telling my tale of woe to my doorman who commented that he had received may deliveries for tenants from Madame Paulette. I called, brought the suit there and was told “no problem!” After just a couple of days, I received it back as good as new – absolutely no trace of wine! Madame Paulette truly proved their reputation to me. Now I plan to take everything there.
