LOVE IT HERE

This location is so very very convinent for me. Their prices resonable and appointments are easy to get. I love the way I am attended to by the girls.

Sometimes I go and have somthing done just to cheer myself up.

• Pros: Very neat and lovely staff. A real treat.

The Scene
Located in a chic townhouse off of Madison Avenue, Donsuki's quiet elegance has the air of a best-kept secret. It's the sort of place you'd pass on the way to Barney's, unless you knew to look for it. Nonetheless, the salon does get jam-packed, and walk-ins are discouraged.

The Services
This New York salon is a real hair place: blow-outs with a few extras on the side, including nails, facials, electrolysis and waxing. Swedish massages are also offered, but on the same bustling floor as the nail salon--not exactly relaxing. Trend-setting cuts and hair healing treatments are the real specialty; standouts include the seaweed or algae detoxification hair masks. The one-hour "medical pedicure" is just the thing boot-hidden feet need to get sandal-ready.
