As the mother of a newborn, I do not have to tell you that I was in desperate need of a massage and the Eastside Massage Therapy Center did not disappoint! I could literally feel the tension leaving my body. This was not my first visit; I actually had a prenatal massage in month six of my pregnancy. But, having had two wonderful experiences in a row, I felt compelled to post a review. (a first for me, actually) What I love the most about this place is that it is all about the massage - no pretenses. The therapists are very professional and always conduct a brief consultation with you before the massage to tailor the massage to your specific needs. There is an atmosphere of tranquility and the entire experience is just soothing!

I’m a guy that never had a lot of massages before. But when my local chiropractor couldn’t offer consistent treatments for my running pains, I decided to give massage therapy a try. Based only on the online reviews of Eastside Massage Therapy, I booked an appointment with Lydia. I felt comfortable knowing that all the therapists are NY State certified. The office is low-key, friendly and completely without a feeling of self-importance from the staff. Lydia made me feel comfortable, asked several questions to find out what was bothering me and took time to explain the treatment. I was so pleased that I’ve been back three times and I plan on making massage part of my post-run recovery routine.

Aaahhh! I am human again after receiving an amazing massage at the Eastside Massage Therapy Center from Helcio! He worked all the areas I mentioned and he found knots I didn't even know were there! I feel like I can breathe again! The center has a laid-back atmosphere with absolutly no pretentious airs! Helcio and the little bit I viewed of the rest of the staff showed complete professionalism! Helcio checked in at all the right moments about his pressure and greeted me outside the door with a glass of water! I highly recommend Eastside! It outshines all nyc spas!!!! It focuses on what's most important; YOU!

I had a massage with Kristina. The table was heated and it was so nice! Kristina is a very gifted therapist. She adjusted the pressure so all the right spots got what they needed and she did some special work on my bad shoulder so I left feeling loosened, relaxed and out of pain. Its a great place!

I went to East Side Massage Therapy with an aching back. I had some huge knots in my back and was in a lot of pain. Then I fell into the hands of an awesome, skilled and professional therapist. She seemed to know exactly where to go to release my tension. She worked deeply but didn't make me want to jump off the table. I left feeling a thousand times better!! Everything from calling to make my appointment to making payment and of course, the massage itself made my experience a great one. And, the fact that the massage was so affordable was the icing on the cake. I'll definitely be back.

I continually have the best, most relaxing experience here. There is nothing pretentious about this place just GREAT massages. The therapists are all certified and the staff is very professional and you receive a consultation prior to every massage and you come out feeling like a new person. I've never felt rushed and appointments are always on time. In the winter the beds are heated so when you come in from the cold you are not undressing and laying on a cold bed. Also, if you go more than once and get the same masseuse they actually remember you and your unique needs. I recommend going here soon and often!

WOW! I just got the most amazing massage at Eastside massage therapy center!! I went in feeling stressed and sore,and this was the deep tissue massage was the best thing I could have done for myself! I feel great! The atmosphere and energy in the center was soothing and calm, I will go back very soon!

I am so glad I found out about this place! I just received the best massage at Eastside massage therapy center! The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure to de-stress and loosen up my sore muscles. I have received massages at various spas,gyms,and massage centers all over the city, and usually pay almost twice as much.The skilled therapist and friendly staff blew them out of the water while only charging 80$! I will never go anywhere else and will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

WOW. .I finally found my place! I came to Eastside for an injury about 6 months ago. All the therapists that I worked with were so helpful and knowledgable. Within 2 months or so my tendonitis and inflammation was gone but I did'nt want to stop the massages. This place is amazing. Its a good size but just small enough to feel very comfortable. Everyone is so friendly and professional and gifted!! I would recommend this place to anyone with any ailments and also to anyone who needs a therapeutic or a relaxing massage!!

I've been to at least a dozen different chic salons in NYC. This place blew them all away. They focused mainly on the actual massage itself - asking you to fill out a single form asking you where it hurts, what kind of massage you want, the pressure you like, and anything they should be aware of. They abided by everything on my list and I felt like my massage was totally personalized. When it was all over she advised me to take my time getting up and met me in the hall with a cup of water. I had to peel myself off the table. I can't say enough good things. Everyone there was so professional and sweet - and DANG what a PERFECT massage! I know I'll be back - maybe even as early as next week. I'm a lifetime client of theirs!

Pros: Affordable Massage, Genuine Staff, greatest massage of my life.

Cons: I can't afford to go every single day for the rest of my life. :)
