I booked a female therapist last Sat in the evening as my routine, however, got a call from East Side noticing that the therapist was sick and if I'm willing to take a male therapist, I've decided to try it because of East Side's good reputation. He worked on me plus what I asked him to focus on, his name is Joe. It was so amazing that how his hands can melt all the tension on my shoulder and neck away in a deep and smooth fashion, and after he worked on my scalp, I just wish that one hour can be forever. I am really appreciated that I got Joe to work on me that day to make my following week a bless. At East Side, I can trust!
- Pros: Best Price, best booking, and best massages
- Cons: too many people waiting! (they have a waiting list!)
BEST in NYC

I have been to most massage spa's in new york city and they are nothing compared to Eastside Massage Therapy! When calling to book an appointment I was shocked when the receptionist informed me that the cost of all their massages is $80 per hour... where in NYC can you get a deep tissue (not only a deep tissue, but the best deep tissue i have ever had!!) for only $80. The receptionist asked me if i was new to the facility and when i said yes she informed me that they offer new client discounts online!!!
Upon arriving to Eastside Massage I was immediately greeted by one of the receptionist and instantly felt the warmth of the center. After filling out a brief intake form I was introduced to my massage therapist Helcio. Normally I prefer a female therapist, but i am soooo happy that I went to Helcio. It was absolutely the best massage I have ever had. He knew all the spots that needed healing and after the massage i was craving more! I immediately felt rejuvenated and booked another appointment in 2 weeks! I cant wait to come back to Eastside Massage!!!
- Pros: affordable, relaxing, the best
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I have gotten a few massages here and every therapist I have been to was excellent. I went for pre and post surgery massages and they helped me recover much sooner then expected. I also had great Reiki sessions here. The receptionists were also very knowledgeable and friendly.
- Pros: relaxing, affordable, peaceful, experienced
- Cons: none

Best Massage with the Best Price!
by steelers22
Without a doubt the best massage experience of my life! I have had my share of massages at different locations in Manhattan and Eastside Massage Therapy is my new favorite spot! I was extremely stressed and had some soreness in my upper back and neck area that I had felt I would always have to live with. Nicole, (I would highly recommend her), was an amazing therapist and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The experience was amazing and I can not wait to return for my next massage! Even better, they have the BEST prices in all of Manhattan.
- Pros: Experienced Therapists, Warm Environment, Cheap Rates!
- Cons: None

A friend of mine recommended that I try this place and I?m so happy I did. This place is soooo amazing! They catered to my every ache and pain and worked out every knot. I couldn?t believe how great I felt afterwards. Best of all, I like this place because it isn?t pretentious. Everyone is very friendly and they really know what they are doing. If you want a great massage from professionals, check this place out!
- Pros: affordable
Best Massage Ever!
by fan26
I just had to write this review, because when I entered Eastside Massage Therapy Center I did not know what to expect. It is definitely not a spa...It's small, cozy, no frills, no products and I felt instantly welcome and comfortable after being greeted by my Massage Therapist, Susan. We had a consult about my aches and pains and what she should focus on. Susan managed to find and release every knot in my shoulders and neck. This is what I've been looking for and it was the best massage I've had in ages!! I left with a smile on my face knowing that I would be back. :)
P.S. Thank you Susan!
- Pros: cost of massage is the best I've found in the city.. $80!
- Cons: none
thank you!

I owe a big thankyou! Marcela is one of the few therapists who was able to ease the pain in my neck. I've had many massages in my life, but recently stood up from a table and felt as if i had a new neck and shoulder. Thank you to Marcela! I don't know exactly what you did but it worked and I will be back! I only hope you have time in your schedule! It was a pleasure!
Best massages in Manhattan

As the mother of a newborn, I do not have to tell you that I was in desperate need of a massage and the Eastside Massage Therapy Center did not disappoint! I could literally feel the tension leaving my body. This was not my first visit; I actually had a prenatal massage in month six of my pregnancy. But, having had two wonderful experiences in a row, I felt compelled to post a review. (a first for me, actually) What I love the most about this place is that it is all about the massage - no pretenses. The therapists are very professional and always conduct a brief consultation with you before the massage to tailor the massage to your specific needs. There is an atmosphere of tranquility and the entire experience is just soothing!
