I was recommended to Dr. Day by my own dermatologist to work with me in a program to restore some facial wasting. After the first visit, I was very relieved by her approach: warm, sincere, helpful. After several visits, I am finally happy about my appearance again- when someone looks at me on the street, I have gone from thinking" What's wrong with him?" to " Wow, he looks great!". Friends have also noticed an improvement in my self-image, as well as my literal facial image.
Dr. Day and her staff are professional, thorough, and extremely kind, especially for such a busy office!
Thank you, Dr. Day!!!
Wonderful Experience!!! Highly Recommend!!

I had a thermage treatment 6 months ago done by Dr. Day's PA. I just came in for my follow up treatment and not only am I thrilled with my results, but I couldn't be happier with Dr. Day and her staff.
My skin feels tighter and smoother & I just couldn't be happier.
Dr. Day is the best!!! I would highly recommend her!
- Pros: Experienced Staff, Personal Attention
- Cons: none
Great Experience
by JWinNY
I have been to a few of Manhattan's top Derms and had a hard time deciding who to go to until I had my first appointment with Dr. Day. I was a great experience and I left feeling part of her office family. I continue to go back and with each visit she helps me take a few more steps in looking more youthful in natural way.
- Pros: Took time and gave me many options
- Cons: Not open on Saturday
only go if you don't mind waiting and not getting treated

I waited over 40 minutes for my initial consultation where I learned that the information given over the phone (that Dr. Day is the one who does thermage) wasn't accurate - that her physician's assistant (PA) is the one who does it. The explanation for this is that the PA has more experience and better results.
I stupidly made my appointment to have thermage and after waiting again (this time only 30 minutes) for my appointment and signing my consent form in something close to a storage closet, the machines didn't work. Apparently the office's two thermage machins (which supposedly worked all day before me) didn't work. After trying for 1/2 hour to fix it, the PA gave up.
I was told that I'd have to reschedule but really, why bother. I asked to have my consultation fee refunded since in total I waited an an hour, plus missed worked for a procedure that I didn't get to have, and was told no because I had my consultation (again, about 4 minutes of the dr.'s time).
I'm very disappointed in the quality and patient service of this office and would rather lose out on the consultation fee that be subjected to rescheduling with them.
- Pros: ummm....none
- Cons: long waits, shabby office and machines that don't work
INSULTING and UNPROFESSIONAL
by lulu1628
I went to see Dr. Day about a skin growth that she had removed twice, but has repeatedly come back. During my very quick, very rushed visit, she proceeded to point out that I needed to consider botox in my "problem" area. Not only did I not ask for her opinion on doing any kind of work, but there are no wrinkles on my 27 year old face! I left the office feeling terrible and upset, as I had never even thought about cosmetic surgery, and I had only gone for the visit for an actual dermotological problem! Dr. Day seems to be very consumed with herself as she not only doesnt take the time to properly discuss the skin/reason you came in, but she is all about promoting herself and about getting you to spend money on procedures. I work in a company where she came recommended, yet after discussing my experience with co-workers, it is obvious that her services have gone down-hill as everyone was in complete agreement. She should refrain from giving her opinion about someone's skin, unless they ask for it, nonetheless pushing botox on women. It is disgraceful and hurtful.
- Pros: quick
- Cons: too quick
