Shoes that match your blue chip stocks.

The Scene
The Tod's loafer isn't just something you put on your feet; it's part of a uniform of wealth. Slip some on, jump in the vintage convertible and head for the country house. We're talking old money here. Customers are comfortable with wealth, and the salespeople are too. No need to simper and hedge--they say flat-out when a style does not look good on someone.
The Goods
While the company has expanded its line beyond the comfortable loafers it's famous for, the women's line remains tied to its preppy roots. Even boots and pumps have the requisite rubber studded heels. New men's styles are dressier. But when the slip-on moccasins are this perfect for tramping about the estate or propping up on an ottoman, why monkey with tradition? Squat handbags perpetuate that "I don't care about fashion" air.
Great classic shoes

Although, I think Tod's shoes are severly over-priced, I can't help myself but buy a pair every once in a while. They just look so great. Classic and luxurious looking, these shoes will last you a life time. Sales people here are helpful, if a little snooty, and the store has good sales. I only like the loafers though. The mens dress shoes look clunky.
