The Scene
This place was originally built as a hotel in 1926 for William Randolph Hearst. Over the last few years, The Lombardy has spent $5 million adding elegant touches to the lobby and hallways, outfitting them with brass chandeliers, marble floors and antique furnishings.
The Details
In its 45 one-bedroom suites, marble bathrooms and entrances add an elegant touch. The pleasant studio apartments are equipped with kitchen facilities. On-premise conveniences include a valet, hairdresser, seamstress and fitness center with treadmills and free weights. The ornate Table XII Restaurant serves Continental cuisine.
