I would never spend this kind of money again for a 57th St. salon that is little better than a suburban mall salon. Rodney's haircut was good, but not that good.

Beautiful Color

Went to Cutler for the first time and had my hair colored by Rebecca. She knew exactly what i wanted and gave me a great color. She's very sweet and will definately be back again.

Great salon - tried for the first time

I never write reviews, but I always look at the them before making an appointment. I had heard of Cutler and knew one person who liked their stylist there (David). I read the reviews which are mostly positive. I have to say, I made an appointment and was so impressed with my experience. Definitely going back. David knew exactly what he was doing. Listened to me, asked a lot of questions and really did an amazing job.

Amazing color experience

I'm not a big review writer, but I thought I'd write one for Cutler because I love consulting reviews before I go to a salon.

I'm extremely picky about my color and have been to dozens of NYC salons. Cutler was one of the best color experiences I've had - walked in with medium brown hair and walked out with pretty honey blonde that worked with my skintone. Christy did an amazing job at weaving in the right colors where they should be, and finding a flattering color for me. That is no easy feat - many salons will just put on the same blonde highlights on everyone and not care. This looks like rich, beautiful color that was done by someone who knows their stuff. I would definitely go back, which is saying a lot because I rarely go to the same salon twice. I was really impressed with the staff, the prices ,and the quality of service. I also loved that blowouts are included with the color!

All in all a wonderful experience for me - I might go back here for my cuts, too!

new, clean, beautiful color and cut

I got my hair colored by Andrew and cut by Francesca. I had a great experiece! Both were soo friendly and in tune with what I wanted and not what they wanted for me. I have recommended them to my friends. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. But I guess that is the way it is here in NYC.

Andrew and Dina are amazing

I have been getting my hair done by Andrew (color) and Dina (cut) for a little while now and they make me soo happy. I have really long healthy hair and even though I was ready for some color, i was skeptical to start coloring and create any damage. I was also worried about getting any color that would look too fake, I showed Andrew a picture of Giselle and his response was "oh honey she has great hair! But lets give you something that is a mix of her hair and a mix of what you bring to the table!" and thats exactly what he did. He gave me beautiful, natural looking hilights that just seemed to melt from my roots into a golden honey color of amazingness. It was perfect and i get stopped all the time because of it. He's also so nice and funny and makes your time in his chair truly enjoyable. I next saw Dina who ive been seeing for a while, she always knows how to make my long layers look like i just walked off the Victorias Secret runway.

GO TO ANDREW AND DINA! THEY ARE SO TALENTED AND AMAZING PEOPLE!

Great Place, so Worth it!

I have been searching for a good stylist for a long time and heard of this salon. I read reviews and was a bit skeptical. For one I am extremely picky, so I had to be cautious when getting a hair cut. When I attended the salon, those negative reviews were proven to be wrong 1000%. I saw Tonino and he was excellent. After that I saw DIna and she was also phenomenal. The colorist Amiyah did a wonderful job and I highly recommend this salon. They are awesome and I assure you, THE MONEY IS SOooo, worth it!
