In 2002 I was rear-ended in a car accident and instead of getting better as time went on, I got worse. I had headaches, burning in my neck and patches of tingling in my legs, arms and side of face. The numbness was so bad that it would wake me up at night. My initial treatments of physical therapy and from my neurologist seemed very cookie cutter. I was prescribed medicine, had MRIs and the general outlook was wait and see, no one could give me any answers. Through a friend, I received the name of a physical therapist that was very holistic and taught the importance of correct body mechanics. He in turn, referred me to Dr Mindel. Almost immediately I had relief from many of my symptoms. He took the time to really listen to what was wrong and also to help me let my body heal in a natural way. It was very important to me to get rid of the problem and not cover it up with medicine. I have energy and the fear of permanent, chronic pain doesn't exist anymore. I have been going to Dr. Mindel for 5 years now and I am very thankful that I found him.
