Well, the receptionist was nice, at least. The haircut, however, left me in tears. I am not vain, nor attached to my "usual" haircut, but I'm going on a job interview tomorrow and wanted a trim. First of all, he took off at least two inches. That's a hell of a trim. Then he mangled my bangs, making them extremely short in the middle and uneven fron there on out. He neglected to cut them all, not pulling from far enough in the back, so that when they'd fully dried, longer pieces fell in front of the newly hacked-off bits. The whole thing looks like a child's experiment with scissors. I'm thinking I should have asked to see his license, but since he never even told me his name, I'm doubting my luck.

Pros: friendly receptionist

Cons: horrible

I agree a 100%; not only that, but is it hard to get the right hair cut if you are not a "customer"...by the way, did you find a new place around ??? let me know please. Meanwhile, where are the owner(s) ??? They don't see it????

Pros: easy come in

Cons: recepcionist and people lack of creativity

Moved to the area a few months ago and was thrilled to see a Jean Louis David nearby - Tried getting a haircut and blow-dry twice but was extremely appalled by the receptionist. After the first encounter, I gave the place another chance thinking maybe she was just having a bad day. After the second encounter (worse then the first) I decided to cut my losses and try another salon. Her rude attitude and general unpleasantness is shocking - a shame since I used to be a regular client of the salon's other locations in the city. Whoever owns the franchise might want to rethink the person they have representing their salon.

Everyone doing hair is busy doing a nice job. But unfortunately you have to deal with the lady at the desk. She acts like she is doing you a great favor when she assigns you to one of the hair dress persons. And she treats you and everyone else like you owe her the world. It would be nice if the owners gave her some support. She seems overwhelmed. And its not possible to avoid her bad attitude. So, in the end, the place has a poor ambience.

Pros: Good value

Cons: Poor atmosphere
