Best Views and Service in NYC
by uktravel at Citysearch
This was my first time staying at Trump. I usually stay at The Four Seasons or Ritz.. I was amazed to find this gem of a hotel with large spacious suites with fantastic views overlooking central park they even had full kitchens in them. The guest services department was great they offered to stock my fridge with items from whole foods. It was like a home away from home. The service was incredible from the bellman to the doormen to the front desk and concierge the personalized service was first rate without being annoying. Congratulations you have a new guest.
Nice Hotel, Excellent View

The gorgeous views of the park and surrounding city along with a fantastic location makes this a great hotel for business and pleasure. The staff was attentive and professional. We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites at the begining of the year. However, the room service menu was somewhat limited and nothing to get excited about. The room was showing a little age. For the price and the Trump name, we expected a little better therefore it only merits a "Recommended" in my opinion. There are other hotels in this area and price range that we like better.
- Pros: Views, Service
- Cons: Room Service, Rooms not up to expectations
AMAZING!

I've stayed in most NYC hotels. Nothing compares to this. The service, attention to detail, from the doorman to the front desk, to the fitness center and spa, its all very personal and caring. This hotel is much smaller than most places, so the attention you get is amazing. Best of all, if you can get a view of Central Park, you are in luck. Spectacular!
- Pros: service, decor, location
- Cons: none
A luxury hotel near Columbus Circle with some of the best views of Central Park.
by Contributor at Citysearch
The Scene
When Trump purchased the old Gulf+Western on Columbus Circle it was ranked one of the ten worst buildings in the nation. But with the help of architect Philip Johnson, he's turned it into a glitzy hotel-condo. The most unique feature of the service is the Trump Attache, a valet assigned to each guest upon reservation to anticipate his or her every need and to record personal preferences for future visits.
The Details
There are 167 guest rooms (including 129 suites) located from the third to the 17th floors. Many have spectacular floor-to-ceiling views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. All are decorated in subdued tones and furnished ultra-comfortably with plush pieces including sofas and Indonesian and Nepali rugs. Amenities include telescopes and kitchens equipped with gourmet cooking utensils. The fitness center has a 55-foot lap pool and a spa, and offers special supervised workouts in Central Park.
