In our short visit to NYC, we dined at this location 3 times. The first time, we had barely walked in and sat down and looked at the menu when we were asked if we were ready. Well, no...we weren't....we just walked in the door. We finally decided on the chicken w/eggplant and beef & broccoli. Both were good....no, make that...the eggplant was perfectly cooked. The 2nd time we had the Spicy Tofu w/Pork in Black Bean Sauce. It was truly the tastiest version of MaPo Tofu I've ever tasted, and being from San Francisco I'm no stranger to good Chinese food. Just good, simple food at reasonable prices. The service could be geared more toward the comfort of the diner, though. No one wants a bill thrust in their faces while they're still savoring their meal, okay?
Pros: Tasty food
Cons: The waitstaff could be trained in courteousy
