The Bum's Rush

This is a fast-food joint masquerading as a neighborhood restaurant -- nothing is made anywhere near to order. The staff wants you to order immediately, eat quickly, and get out. They are the rudest group of people I've encountered in a long time.

• Pros: Inexpensive with free white wine
• Cons: The service is the rudest in the city.

Whatta Value!

I went with 3 friends on a Saturday night. The place is very small so there weren't many tables. We were fortunate that there was one table available for us to sit at. However, unfortunately it was right next to the door so it was rather cold. Anyways, they bring free wine, the food was dropped off at our table in record time, and when we got the bill we were surprised it was so inexpensive! The food was great and we'll definitely be back.

Great food and never-ending free wine

Once entering the cottage, one cannot ignore the friendly atmosphere and service; tables with happy faces engaging in delicious food and sociable conversation.

The food is fresh and full of flavor not to mention the never-ending free wine served in large glass jugs.

The best part is the bill, a dinner for two with 2 bottles of wine and extra sauce, sometimes a doggy bag is needed to finish the meal at home, placed nicely in the $20 reach.

Free Wine and Good Service

I had planned to take my boyfriend out for his birthday dinner to Silk Rose Restaurant which is acclaimed for its free wine and cheap Chinese food. Since the restaurant does not take reservations, we showed up to an hour wait. As we were hungry we wandered around and found the Cottage. It is just as good food as Silk Rose and free wine as well. The service is great!
