Good Food too many people!
by kickwall
While the bagels are delicious and they are very generous with their assortments of cream cheese, they are much too crowded.
No one wants to stand on line with a bunch of texting rude college kids.
STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES!!!!!
by rrcc
I usually go to Absolute Bagel because I have a dairy allergy and they offer tofu (dairy free) spreads for your bagel. I have always explained to them that I have an allergy and pay very close attention to how my food is handled. But this time they sent me home with cream cheese instead of tofutti, and I'm lucky to be alive. I called Absolute Bagel and they didn't seem to even know what a food allergy was.
Absolutely the best

Absolute Rude Service
by kiddodank
I've been a customer for years but recently, upon returning home I would notice that some of the bagels were severely underbaked. On my last visit (no pun intended) I inspected the bagels in the shop after buying them and saw that at least one of them was quite sticky on the sides (underbaked dough). I brought this to the attention of the manager who immediately chastised me for 'touching' the bagel and would not let me get a word in about the quality of the bagel edgewise. They refused to listen to the fact that the bagel was underbaked. I asked for my money back, they rudely waved me away and dared me to find better quality at a supermarket.
I'm very shocked and disappointed at how rudely these people treated a long-time customer.
- Pros: Used to be good, but on a decline
- Cons: Very rude service

Columbia students cure hangovers with these hole-in-the-center creations smothered in cream cheese.
10 years and still the best!

Confession time: I haven't been here in 10 years, HOWEVER, when I lived in NYC and was going to Barnard, I stopped here every morning and got an everything bagel with cream cheese. It was the most divine thing ever and I never tired of it. These days, I'd get an everything bagel with tofutti :) They had the warmest, chewiest most delectable bagels ever. It's a hole in the wall, but the taste is out of this world.
- Pros: best bagels ever. period.
- Cons: none really!
beware

Great bagels but don't expect much in how they treat customers. You may want to check to see if you got what you paid for.
I didn't know bagels could be this good

Amazingly good bagels for a cheap price. They have a lot of different kinds of bagel toppings and they dont skimp on it either. Great if you're low on cash and want something that isnt bad for you and will fill you up.
- Pros: Good food, good atmosphere
- Cons: None that I can think of
