How are they in Business????.
I have lived in this neighborhood for 6 years and can remember the good old days when Panorama was a charming restaurant with outdoor seating and was so busy there was often a wait for tables. The
food was very good so the wait was worth it
Panorama is a classic example of why most Mom and Pop restaurants close. After moving to its new and inferior location, the place is like eating at a graveyard. The food has gone downhill and the service is horrible since they cant keep any good servers since there is no business. The owner has become absolutely miserable, and its obvious that he is struggling to stay in business. With so many good Italian restaurants to choose from with better atmosphere and service and better food, there is no reason to patronize this place unless you simply want to prolong the misery that is Panorama…
Excellent Italian!!. Cafe Panorama is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is excellent. I've had many of the entrees and have never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable. The service is warm and friendly. The ambiance is cozy. And the owner Nunzio Montagna makes everyone feel welcome and at home.…
Every Omelette you can imagine and delicious french toast. Very nice atmosphere and great food. Service is a bit slow, but the food is worth it.
UES Staple. Always quality food, lovely owner.... the only complaint is that sometimes the waitstaff stinks. Great spot for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Great Food. I have been to the new location and must say it was FANTASTIC!! The seafood appetizers were great and the main dishes( we ordered 4 different kinds) were very well prepared. I have gone back 4 more times since its opening and have ordered other dishes from the menu so that I can give my BEST opinion and was NOT disappointed at all. I have tried the chicken, steak, seafood and their fish dishes and all were "DELICIOSO". The staff were very attentive and the place is very cozy with its great decor and ambience. Great first date restaurant. My next trip will be to try their Brunch. I am planning on going back for more and have recommended this place to ALL my friends.…
THE NEW PANORAMA. I totally disagree with ysettle's review, I have been going to Panorama since it originated, And I have always been treated like royalty by the owner and staff. The food in the new place in my opinion is better, and the owner is always welcoming and doesn't know what to do next to make you feel at home. As a neighbor, maybe you should take into consideration that owning a business in these hard economical times is not easy and be more supportive.…
Friendly staff serving some good food. No reservations, Saturday night dinner date around 9pm. Walked in and sat at one of the tables on the second floor balcony. No complaints about the sangria, the food was fine... not bad, not the best, but good. The service was very friendly though, joked around with our waiter which made the night more enjoyable, and made us welcome, not rushing us for anything. Prices were average city pricing. If I'm in the UES and the weather's beautiful, I'd go back and sit outside again for a dinner.…
Good neighborhood cafe. Large menu can be overwhelming, but we've liked everything we've tried. Decent sangria, good amount of outdoor seating. Be sure to sit upstairs if it's open. Welcoming and friendly service.
great food. The service was good,. The prices were alright. The food was excellent , portions were large and a excellent suprise.
Avoid it. The food is just not good - the chicken was dry and tasteless, and the sangria had no flavor. There are better places in the neighborhood which cost less and offer much better food
