This is a pretty decent restaurant, especially when compared to its neighbors. I have always enjoyed the dishes that I have eaten. The martinis are also pretty tasty. Service is a bit on the slow side and the prices are downtown-type prices. I still enjoy this place.

Really good food, great service, great delivery. Some of my favorite dishes include, the ceaser salad, the hanger steak, the salmon, the lunch special menu as a whole (what a good deal), as well as many of their specials. Check it out!
- Pros: Yum

107 West is a pretty cozy neighborhood place in Washington Heights. It's an alternative to spanish and crappy chinese food in the area (with the exception to Jimi Oros). The food is pretty good and decently priced. The mash potatoes is pretty damn good as well as the rigatoni with chicken. The staff is always very friendly and professional. Service is quick as well as their delivery.
- Pros: location, food, service
- Cons: no cons
Great Staff, Cool Drinks, Tasty food

After visiting 107 west for the first time the other day, I came away pleased that I made the trek uptown to this wonderful Gem of Washington Heights. The staff was very friendly, but not overly pushy, and the atmosphere was comftorable with a great mix of music that made the short wait for food even shorter. With various appetizers (I had the Nachos and my friend had the Crab Cakes) and different Tortilla Rolls (Steak, Shrimp, and Chicken) you have plenty to choose from to warm up for a bevy of Entree's and a rotating assortment of Daily Specials, including the famous Flounder stuffed with crabmeat and Avacado or the Jambalya served in an iron kettle and piping hot. The mix of authentic Tex-Mex and Creole Cuisine makes for an interisting combination that is sure to please those unable to decide on one specific thing. After dinner don't miss the wonderful array of dinner drinks, specifically the after dinner mint, which goes great with a walnut brownie, or an apple crisp served a'la mode. But perhaps the most endearing part of the restaurant are it's large portions and low prices with the Avg. meal around Fourteen dollars.
- Pros: Ambience, Service, Food, PRICE
- Cons: Travel

There's a really great variety on this menu, seafood, chicken, burritos, awesome salads, steaks, etc etc etc. Definitely something for everyone, at very reasonable prices. A really nice, relaxed atmosphere, one of the best places to eat out (or order in) in the neighborhood.
- Pros: ambience, location, food, nightly specials, service
- Cons: not much
A reliable neighborhood restaurant

I love the food and the ambiance here. It's a really nice little place with consistently good food and prompt , friendly service. I've never had a dish I didn't like, but the tex-mex is really the best on the menu. Everyone needs to try the shrimp quesadilla. The rice and beans side isn't always my favorite, but the quesadilla more than makes up for it. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes good food and a cozy spot to eat, and doesn?t want to pay too much for it.
- Pros: Tex-mex food, menu, $6 drinks at happy hour!
- Cons: Rice and beans side
Love it

Great food at prices that can't be beat, especially in this neighborhood. The fried chicken and the hanger steak are to die for, and the salads are always good for a light meal. I love the variety of the menu, and portions are *HUGE* Nice atmosphere, and always a good experience.
- Pros: Quality of food, portion sizes, price
- Cons: none
Terrified!

This is the most consistently good restaurant in the area? Just moved here, and I hope not! Service was weak, food was mediocre. Bad music. The food came out lukewarm, and after sending back to be reheated, came back just the same. The meals tasted like they were assembled from canned ingredients, yet were priced much higher. Not terrible, but certainly not great. Tip: don't sit near the door in cold weather, or you'll be dining in your down coat!
- Pros: location
- Cons: price, quality
I have to agree, the most consistent in the neighborhood

While I wouldn't say it's amazing, it is by far the most consistently good restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is generally good, delivery prompt and staff at the restaurant very nice and professional.
In regard to the person who posted about children, I took my sister my two young nieces here for lunch and we were totally accomodated and they treated us very professionally. Of course my four-year-old niece was on good behavior that day and the 6 month old slept the entire time, but in no way did they look down on children being in the restaurant. I'd have to assume that if they asked someone to leave, there must have been a good reason. Just because you think your children acting out is cute, other people who are paying to eat dinner, regardless of the hour probably do not.
- Pros: Fried Chicken, quesadillas, salads
- Cons: Rice and beans
Best American mix for everyone

- Pros: Good service, Good food, Great delivery
