What Quality?

I wouldn't recommend the Hampshire Hotel (now called the Quality Times Square) if you're looking for CLEAN accommodations. Although conveniently situated in Times Square, the hotel iteself needs MUCH improvement. Smelly (reeked of mildew, dust, and dirt - like a very old basement) dirty, tiny rooms had beaten up furniture, unworking data port line, and a brick wall view. Unaccommodating staff. No room upgrade for Choice Privilege members. Book the airport shuttle (Super Shuttle) directly, you'll save 25%. Definitely wouldn't stay here again. The Quality Hotel on 94th St./Bway is MUCH cleaner.

A Perfect Stay

I stayed at the Hampshire Hotel for a week in April 2002. The double room I shared with a friend was perfect! It was kept nicely cleaned. I loved the continental breakfast served in a room off the lobby. The staff members were all pleasant and helpful. I have absolutely no complaints and wish I could go back right now!
