What users are saying:
typical of a restaurant in a tourist area
by nycguy2003 at Citysearch
first off, i'm a NYer, and not a tourist; happen to be hanging out @ the seaport, and decided to go here; kinda knew what i was getting into already; been here on a 'once in a bluemoon' occasion before.
the food use to be better, but has gotten worse.
i would best describe it as fast food, served in a casual dining restaurant.
i think the one ~12th St. is much better.
going to McD's, Burger King, or Wendy's would probably be a similar meal, @ much affordable prices; all of which are within a couple blocks away.
Chipotle, is also in the area.
- Pros: on a nice day, the view.
- Cons: food
Horrible service!!!!!!
by lynn88 at Citysearch
The server was so rude and the food wasn?t prepared right. The pasta was too oily, and the steak was overcooked. I will never go back to that place again. It was a waste of my money and time to dine in such a crappy place.
Terrible service

Let me start by saying that this place has the worst service overall of any restaurant I've been to in NYC. I went with two of my friends on a nice day to the seaport. We didn't mind the 45 min wait they suggested (which was actually an hour and a half). Once seated, we had to ask for things that are usually common restaurant protocol such as the menu. Throughout the night we had to ask for the water, utensils, etc. (the waitress was very incompetent. The food was also terrible. Not pleased with the food or the service, we only left a $3 tip. The waitress had the audacity to tell us that we are suppossed to leave her %15 of the bill as tip. I was so upset since the service was horrible, and we were asked to leave money even though she sucked. I'm never going there again and I warn you not to ever go to that disgusting, dreadful restaurant.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything

Hearty deep dish pizza, plus pasta, burgers, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizza, panini and more, plus a selection of wine, beer and cocktails.
nice for outdoors in the summer

My boyfriend and I ate here so we could eat outside while watch the band play in the seaport. It is a perfect seat for the show and it was worth the 30 minute wait.
We were told the wait would be 20 minutes but, of course, the hostess never wrote down our names and so the second hostess was very confused when we inquired about our table 15 minutes later. We didn't wait much longer and took advantage of the very limited happy hour they had at the bar inside.
The food is typical chain-like restaurant food. The pizza is buttery and heavy in your stomach and the nachos could have been done much much better. Don't expect much and understand that this place is for tourists!
- Pros: location, happy hour
- Cons: , food, touristy crowd
The Worst
by frenchie at Citysearch
Going to Pizzeria Uno was the biggest mistake I have ever made. It was the worst service or should I say lack of, that I have ever experienced. My waiter was practically on vacation while I was there.
The worst thing about it was that I took someone there for their birthday expecting to have a good time and instead the night was ruined.
The management was hounding my table all night and my food was not handled in a respectable manner. When asked to rap up my dessert, my waiter returned with what looked like a mixture that somewhat resembled my dessert.
To sum it up with one word, the night was absolutely "horrific".
- Pros: quiet, atmosphere
- Cons: service, food presentation, respect
Very touristy

This branch is extremely popular with the tourists, but it does have a nice decor, and a kick-ass view of the river. The food is ok, typical for the chain, a good place to stop for a lunch.
