THE WORSE CHINESE FOOD IN NEW YORK - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Live in the neighborhood and used to work in WFC before 2001. Recently tried Au Mandarin again after many years and I was terribly dissapointed and still sick to my stomach now. The food arrived at the table cold, the sauce was nasty and thick and looked worse than goo and they had the audacity to charge for rice...stay away from this place until someone shuts it down and replaces it with a decent restaurant.

Why go anyplace else?

Want some good chinese at lunch or for dinner? Swing by this family-owned restaurant and check out their awesome selection, I'd order the soft-shell crab (hmm hmm gooooood). Oh and the owner's daughter is a cutie too (that helps).
- Pros: Soft-shell crab to die for...
- Cons: Not open late...

There's much better chinese food out there. I had great initial impressions due to the quick delivery and the staff following my directions on my special order. If your company isn't paying for it, search out one of the other chinese food places.
