A horrible place for animals

The animals are in tiny little cages. There seems to be no supervision of the animals either so kids can be seen chasing the birds around, feeding the animals at the petting zoo the wrong foods, and banging of the glass of the cages. The animals pace back and forth in their enclosures and look very unhappy. This place so fix their problems or close their doors.

A great place for a picnic on a sunny day

The brox zoo is better. I haven't been to Staten island Zoo since my childhood school trip. Gift shops, snack places, a petting zoo, and a nice green scenery of trees, like a forest. But parking isn't a pain-in-the-butt here. Right in a residential area. This zoo is too small, but alot of people do come. They close early. Don't forget to bring your camera.
- Pros: People, animals, gift shop, indoor hands on activities
- Cons: Very child oriented
