Great school to hone your driving skills

I had a great time with Pelham Auto Driving School. My instructor (Anthony) was awesome. Jerry was good, but Anthony was way, way better. Dee was so cool. Thank you, thank you, thank you... You guys rock!

Pass the test the first time

This place was owesome, i passed the road test right away. The professors are friends, and available all the time. I loved the way they guided me thru the streets and letting me handle the wheels. They gave me a sense of confidence and i was able to feel confortable about myself. I always thought that i would fell the first time, but that was not true, they helped me built up my knowledge and truly trust myself.

Great Driving school in bronx

Pelham Auto Driving School was the best school ever. I passed my road test on the first try. They taught me everything I needed to know and driving and were very professional. I recommend this school to any driver nervous or calm..

Very Good Driving School

Pelham Driving School is a very good school i passed my test in one try because of them. They helped me on every step. Lets just say The instructors were Great and are a big part that makes this school the best. Thank You Guys because of you ill get my license.

best driving school ever

PELHAM AUTO DRIVING SCHOOL IS THE BEST I took the package of 12 lessons and the instructor were awsome patien with me, and I passed my road test on my first try. Good people,and fun to drive with teachers very dedicated, I highly recommend this school to all new drivers.

Very Good Driving School

i was a new driviner and only drived twice in a parking lot. i took only the five lesson package with the five hour class included. in about three weeks of learning with them, i passed on my first attempt. the instructors were really patients and nice. they never screamed when a mistake was made. i was nervous but i passed and the money went to a good cost. i think all new drivers should go to this driving school.

This school lacks professionalism and commitment.

I took several classes with this school on May and June. I paid a lot of money. I failed my road test miserably. Although these instructor are very respectful and friendly; some of them do not dedicate the energy and patient needed to teach somebody how to drive. If you decide to go to this school to learn how to drive, pick Anthony (if he still working there). He is very professional and patient. He is a very quiet person too, do not expect him to have a conversation with you while driving. He puts a lot of dedication on what he does. On the other hand;. Jerry? let me tell you. I used to take classes with him on Saturdays;and in the middle of the lesson, he used to make me stop at a coffee shop so he can buy his breakfast. This man would then pick up his cell phone (while the lesson was still going on) to speak with his Spanish girlfriend. Finally, he would stop by the gas station. He will always finish my lesson early. I could not take it anymore. Chiquita; she is a good instructor but, on a couple of occasions she will call me to re-schedule the lesson minutes before the lessons were scheduled to commence. There were times that she did not even bothered to call me to informed me that the lesson for that particular day was canceled. There was an occassion that I paid for a taxi to take me to the driving school so I could make it on time for my lesson; and minutes later, I received a phone call from Chiquita indicating me that the lesson was canceled. Furthermore, I paid all of my lessons in full. When I left, they still owed me two more lessons. I called to re-schedule them but, I was told by Chiquita that they did not have any more space to place me. I felt like I was robbed. I left them keep the money. I then decided to try another school. I took few lessons with this other school and passed my road test with perfect score. Pelham Auto Driving School, do not pick up or drop off their students before or after the lessons.

• Pros: Instructors are very warm and friendly (Dee and Anthony are great)
• Cons: Horrible bookeeping, very unresponsible, lack of professionalism when it comes to lesson's time frame.

Great Driving School!

I took the package of 12 lessons at Pelham Driving School & passed at my first attempt. Good people, no drama. I had all my lessons with Anthony who is really good, patient and calm. I highly recommend this school to all new drivers.

Driving school that's worth your time and money!

I want to put a word for Pelham Auto Driving School for the training and confidence I now have on driving. I never liked driving. It makes me nervous and easily gets confused of directions. I have always preferred desk work that no matter how complicated the task is, I?ve always enjoyed. But thanks to Pelham Auto Driving School: to Jerry for the patience and professionalism he never ran out from start to finish and fully understood that being behind the wheels for the first time was not easy. He made me feel comfortable as if driving was a delicate task that requires exercise of extreme care and caution, but also fun. He is friendly and made sure driving rules were properly followed. I also had a lesson with Anthony and Chiquita who both were excellent and nice. Dee was very supportive. She was quick in providing support and always there to provide encouragement. Dee also helped explain driving rules I missed to ask during the actual lessons. Now that I am driving my own (new) car I can only recall those ?left signal ? turn your head ? check your blind spot? instructions as if echoing from the lights and signs I see on the road. And I remember I was not only learning to drive to pass the road test, but also what it means to be a good driver. I highly recommend Pelham Auto Driving School. Affordable and worth your time and money.

• Cons: The car was a bit disorderly inside.
