Worst service and management team I have ever seen

Came in today 6-18-2011 for breakfast with 4 people. How hard is it make eggs with sausages. Excuses like you cant believe When we finished and no toast or sausages voila the sausages came 35 minutes after ordering. Wasnt going topay for sausages but did after fighting with manager. Real Jerks Amazing that this diner got good reviews t he kitchen is horrible th e waitstaff undertrained management a bunch of greek con artists

Bronx's best Diner

Every time I come back to the Bronx the first place I go to is the Pelham Diner.I Always order the same thing. Salmon(very fresh)- and the portion is very large. The clam chowder is excellent. Very pleasant atmosphere. Been coming here for a long time!!! Thanks

CHOWDA!!!!!

Ok, first off, this diner is tremendous, both in size and quality. The wait staff can be a bit snippy at times (be sure to order slowly and in a monotone voice, as most waiters are products of the local public school system) That being said, the quality of chowder in this joint is excellent. Talk about variety! From Clam Chowder to Corn Chowder to my personal favorite Lamb Chowder, this late-night hot spot is the "bee's knees" when it comes to creamy soups. Be sure to attend Thursday Night Chowda-Keg parties hosted by the one and only DJ Rasta Monroe. Beware, its BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl). SOUPS ON!

i would recommend this diner to anyone. Obv the food is delicious (and huge portions) but i also love the brand new renovations and cant wait to see what the new inside is going to look like. and also, the fact that they care enough to update and make the restaurant new again while still making sure the dining rooms that are still open are fully operational and not under messy construction is really nice.

CANT GO WRONG @ this diner

This is by far the best restaurant around. I discovered it when i moved in with my fiancee about 2 1/2 years ago. Every time I go it gets better. I really enjoy a nice big steak or a surf n' turf for dinner. My fiancee always orders stuffed shrimp

BEST DINER AROUND

I have been going to this diner for years, and I LOVE it. My work takes me all over, and thus I have been to way too many diners to recount and NOTHING compares to the Pelham Bay Diner. Their food is consistently delicious and satisfying. I dont always order the same thing but I do have a few favorites: any salad on the menu is a good bet, cheeseburgers are always melt in your mouth deliciousness and my absolute favorite is the "Bronx Breakfast" (way too much food to eat in one sitting though).

• Pros: food, location, parking, 24 hours
• Cons: so much food that you have to take some home

The BEST

I love this place. I can get anything and walk away happy, sometimes with a doggie bag. My favs are the Cobb Salad and Chicken Francese...... but everything is just terrific.
