Brought a cotton dress to Tailoring Repair after reading the other comment. The bust and waist needed to be brought in and a zipper had to be moved. They did a professional,neat job, and were very pleasant. But, the dress wasn't taken in as much as I wanted. I didn't try to go back yet so I can't comment as to how they react when asked to fix something further. Overall good, professional job, just a little bummed that I'll probably be going back this week to ask them to take it in further or will just make the adjustment myself.
Pros: inexpensive ($35), quick turnaround, nice people, obviously skilled eventhough dress not perfect
Cons: deep in Bayridge (83rd st.), will have to go back

I am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding out of state so i took my dress here to be altered and was very upset with the way i looked before the alteration. When I arrived they were so friendly and had wonderful customer service and very professional all at the same time. I picked my dress up a week later b/c I had plenty of time-they not only fixed the length(from 5'11" down to 5'5"), but also brought in the bust area and fixed the baggy chiffon halter part that completed the dress for $50. I tried the dress on after the alterations and it just looked great-I felt like such a princess! I definetly recommend coming here for alterations and dry cleaning which they also do!
Pros: Friendly, Very Talented , Professional
Cons: No Late Store Hours
