I always feel frustrated when taking my car in for service because you never can tell when you might be getting scammed. Every experience I have had with Parkside has been just the opposite. The owner always takes the time to explain problems with the car - what's wrong, what the solution is and what your options are. I feel like I am in good hands at Parkside which is a lot more than I can say for about 99% of the other places I have taken my car.
Pros: through, trustworthy, customer oriented service
Cons: must leave for 1 or more days, no waiting area

I will second the previous reviewer, the owner, Charlie is fantastic and he is very honest. I had to get my car inspected ASAP and they were able to do it within a day. They could have told me 5 things needed to be fixed - they provided an honest assessment of my car and I would definitely go back for work in the future.

Charlie, the proprietor, is fantastic. He does good word at a fair price and takes the time to make sure you understand all your choices. I took my car there for extensive clutch work, and as a woman taking my car there myself, I never wondered if I was being mislead or patronized. Highly recommended.
