So I decided to get highlights for the very first time and I LOVE THEM!!! I met with Andrea and she recommended a shade which was very natural and would work well with my hair color. Altough I was a little nervous coloring my hair for the first time, she answered all my questions and made me feel copletely comfortable. Andrea was quick, curteous, and a pleasure. I would definitely come back for more. Thank you Andrea...

I went to this salon after reading many of the good reviews and from word of mouth. I visited this salon after having my hair ruined someplace else. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Lisa, is simply fabulous. She is a master at cutting my hair. My layers are precise and I have more volume than I ever thought was possible The Salon has an attractive appearance. My facial was unbelievable and I feel years younger. I strongly recommend this salon.

This is my new favorite place to be. Walked in on a Saturday evening, about 30 minutes before they closed. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I have not had a more pleasant, professional, painless bikini wax. Maybe I have been going to the wrong places. I won't go anywhere else for a wax anymore. I would highly recommend

This place is great....! I have been trying to find a new salon in Brooklyn and I am so happy that I found FACES SALON AND SPA. Everyone was down to earth and very professional. LISA cut my hair and I have to say she has a unique talent. She was innovative and my hair have not looked so good in years. The colorist, JENNIFER , was great. She did an absolutely amazing job with my blonde highlights providing a shade that is stunning while complementing my tan skin. I highly recommend this salon for all it's talent and extremely kind staff.

After getting coloring done, I get moved to the rinsing station/sink, which is the most uncomfortable space to rest your neck and head (hard, porcelain surface, tiny nook for one's neck, no padding or comfort at all). Plus, the rinser kind of tugged on my hair and the whole experience was uncomfortable. After that, apparently, blow-drying the hair is not included in the service. I had to blow-dry my own hair (how can one go out with one's hair completely wet??!!), but was told that I shouldn't do so because the loud sound of the dryer disturbs the surrounding customers. Weird. Again, I don't know how they can expect one to leave a salon with wet hair. Ridiculous.

I love Faces! I been going there for a year and a half already and i have no complaints. I trust my colorist Jen and my Stylist Princess so much that i dont have to tell them what i want when i get there. Princess is the best at layers and is a very nice person to talk to. Jen is Very hip and sweet and knows her trade very well. I look forward to my next appointment.

Pros: Very Good Prices on cuts and styling

Cons: Expensive hair Products sold there

I came in based on Citysearch reviews. They fit me in same morning. I liked that the price was given before the procedure and nothing was added up, no hidden charges. Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Chave was my colorist and she did an amazing job with my highlights. She recommended I have a trim, so that my hair breathes better after coloring. She put me with Princess and even though I asked not to take any length off , just trim the ends, I ended up with quite a bit of length gone. I was trying to grow my hair for summer and now I am where I was 2 months ago. I am definitely going back to Chave for highlights, but I'll skip the trim.

Did not like this place at all.. Went to this salon based on the reviews on citysearch...and that being said, i made an appointment with Princess..Did not like it at all....I asked her what haircut would suit my face shape and she ended up just trimming my already layers that i had. I did not want to say anything, so i said thank you and never went back.

After much research I found " Faces salon and spa " and for the first time in years I finally found the right person, "Princess “ ! She is SUPER! She cut my hair and I can't describe how happy I am! Every time I see her I have a wonderful experience she is very creative but yet she always consider my ideas and my will and the creations result are always made for my hair texture. Her style is simple, natural, and attractive. She always tells me how to take care of my hair at home. The Salon is the best salon/spa in Brooklyn .... the receptionist is very nice and friendly ... actually everyone over there is friendly. I'm so happy I've found this place.

Awesome color and cut, I decided to take a big risk and try a new colorist/stylist at Faces salon, based on the gloving city search reviews. This turned out to be a great decision got fabulous natural highlights and a great hair cut from Princess she was super friendly and helpful. The reaction to my hair has been amazing, compliments from everyone. I have not found anyone better at cutting hair in NYC.
