I had been to this place in the past. Not the best place before. My freind was visiting from out of town, and he wanted a quick breakfast. I advised him not to go the donut house, but we went any way. I don't normaly write reviews, but i had to for this place. I work in the meat packing district in Manhattan. There was a place on the corner of 14th street and Ninth ave, called Nicks City Diner. This place was great, 24 hours a day clean and well priced good food. Unfortunalty they lost there lease in 2004. When I walked into the Donut House last week, I saw the owner of Nicks City Diner. I asked him what are you doing here, He said I just bought the place 3 weeks ago. I have to say immedialty this became my favorite spot, just like his previous place. Food was 100 times better and service was great. He did advise me the place is closing for a renovation at the end of the month. If he works the Donut House as well as he ran Nicks City Diner , we will all be lucky to have a great food joint in our town.

Pros: New Owners. Better food, Great prices

Cons: So far none with new owner
