Great Massage! But Very Thin Walls.

I had a great massage with Sheryl. She was professional but warm and engaging. Even better she knew her stuff. Unlike other places I've been where the therapist can't even tell you the names of the muscles, she knew the names and how to work and stretch them. This may not mean much to some people but as an avid runner and office worker I appreciate that kind of knowledge. The only bad thing was the noise in the spa. I could hear everything happening in other rooms. Even people speaking in a low voice could be heard. Very unprofessional. Why such thin walls? My therapist was great, I would see her again but the cheap walls were a drawback.
- Pros: massage was great!
- Cons: have not invested in any insulation between the rooms

The staff at Body & Mind Day Spa are absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was so relaxing, it made me feel as if I was away on vacation in the few hours I spent there. This is a great way to spend the day away from your regular daily routine. It's like a being on vacation even if it is only for a few hours.
Our first visit is one of many to come

My husband and I decided to spend our Friday evening at Body & Mind Spa and it was Wonderful!! Arty, quiet, relaxing sanctuary to wait for your services with soft music, snacks and refreshments to enjoy. It was better than I expected and better than any other day spa I've visited. The staff was exceptional and caring. Massage therapists are unsurpassed. The best massage, most care, friendly and professional. We are very pleased with this spa. We will return as often as we can afford to treat ourselves to relaxation.

So glad I found this spa, I'll be back soon...

I received a Deep Pore Cleansing Facial from Liz. She gave me a great facial and a neck massage. Liz shrunk my pore size and gave me the softest skin I can remember having. My friend got a swedish massage and was in love with her massage therapist. I'LL BE BACK AND WILL RECOMMEND this spa TO ALL MY FRIENDS. You guys are so nice! Hope you and your boss see this review.

The first time I went to Body and Mind I had the best experience of my life. I've worked in spas before and the therapists are so well-trained and experienced. Ever since then I've recommended the day spa to friends and family and get Gift Cards for every occasion. There's no other spa around that I would ever go to again and it's right in my own neighborhood!

I just spent my first afternoon at Body & Mind day spa. I am athletic and a runner and as a result am always searching for good massages. In addition, I love to feel pampered and treat myself pretty often to spa treatments. I have received treatments as some of the top spas in the city such as Bliss 57 and the Peninsula and so have a pretty good base for comparison.
I have lived in Queens for 13 years and for some time searched for a local spa that was quiet, relaxing and not part of a larger salon. There are times when I just don't want to spend the time and the money it takes to drive into Manhattan (aside from driving itself). I don't know why I never found out about Body & Mind but just
I just recently did in a web search.
The treatments were excellent. The massage left me feeling like Jell-O and did a great job of helping loosen up the hip that I have been having issues with. The facial was one of the best I ever had: great products, no unnecessary picking and altogether so relaxing. The only disappointment I could share is a lack of nail polish colors (I received an awesome mani/pedi too). That says a lot.
Overall, the spa is so quiet (yet you know they are busy)you feel you are in your own private space. It is also very clean and the rooms are relaxing. Everyone who works there is friendly, warm and a pleasure to deal with.
I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this spa. You really should give it a try if you are looking to pamper yourself in Queens!
Not a pretentious environment

I had a facial at Body & Mind Day Spa and it was a great experience. For such a simple service you should feel as if you are walking into a home, comfortable and relaxing and that's how it was. Some spas have a pretentious feel and this wasnt the case. The staff was friendly and the facial was very helpful for my skin and the price did not break my bank either.

I have been to several spas in the area and this one is by far the best! The staff is friendly and professional and the massages leave a tingle you never want to get rid of.
