I've had better
by Sham718 at Citysearch
The hype about this place prior to my first visit was overdone. The food was average and the service as lousy as could be. It took 15-20 minutes before a waiter/waitress even acknowledged us and that was after having to flag one down! It took 3 times to get our drink order right (all we ordered were soft drinks), and it took multiple requests to get us utensils to enjoy our soup, which was brought out in the wrong size originally. Then when the food was brought out, it was in peices leaving several people with no food while the rest of us were eating. The food wasnt terrible but it was not worth the trouble! Not once did the waitress come back and check on us through out the night and had to get the attention of another waiter to get our check. Once we received the bill, it wasnt even itemized and written out in Thai ,(HELLO THIS IS F-ING AMERICA) and had no idea what we were charged for. AVOID THIS PLACE, there are much better authentic thai restaurants with better food and service.
- Pros: authentic food
- Cons: poor service, does not deal with public well
Excellent food. One of the best Thai place

Kao Soy chicken was awesome. Recomended to lot of friends and they had the same great experience. Food is cheap and awesome.
The only problem is you need to pay only by cash.
Foodwise, one of the best Thai place I have been to.
- Pros: Excellent food. Cheap.
- Cons: Cash only. Parking outside restaurant.
Decent but authentic

Very affordable, The main course OK; if you want more than OK Thai, your better bet is SEA in Williamsburg Bklyn
- Pros: nice outdoor dining area
- Cons: have had better
Always dreaming of my next meal

the crispy watercress salad, the papaya salad, numerous pork, duck, eggplant dishes with basil and chili. you really can't go wrong with anything here except for the seafood dishes. they always disappoint in comparison to everything else. love love love this joint.
- Pros: EVERYTHING
- Cons: fish dishes
yummy

The renovation was worth the wait; more space, nice decor and price remains very reasonable. The garden is just a wonderful addition. But... can't make too much noise coz the neighbors will complain.
- Pros: you get what you pay for and even more
- Cons: some days the wait can be long
Superb food in an unpretentious locale

This is what Thai is supposed to be. I come here every few months and the quality of the food is always exceptional, with no ups and downs. You can't go wrong with a dish here. The service is fine -rushed sometimes but generally attentive. With the addition in recent years of more tables and the outdoor patio, the customer turnaround is quicker and the wait a bit more bearable. Well worth the trip from Manhattan and other boroughs.
- Pros: Bright flavors, fresh ingredients, consistent quality
- Cons: No-reservations policy
authenticity

This is one of those places you just can't find in the city.
Everyone is thai, from the customers to the cooks and waiter/waitresses.... YOU KNOW its good Thai food is you see Thai customers in there. lolz I like to go when its beautiful out because there backyard is absolutely gorgeous amidst an area that is lacking... Parking isn't too bad either.
- Pros: the food, open garden area in the back
- Cons: they close at 930 on the dot.
Amazing Gem of a Place

The staff is exteremely attentive and caring. The dishes we ordered came quickly and were full of flavor and spice. This is a great neighborhood restaurant with a well deserved following.
- Pros: perfect food, great service
- Cons: gets somewhat crowded at times
Food still good, place going downhill
by eatingtheworldinnyc at Citysearch
The food is excellent, but ever since this very popular restaurant has expanded a few years ago, you don't feel treated as special as the smaller Thai establishments in Queens, and that makes a difference. It has sort of become an atmosphere close to a soup kitchen, they serve your food and bring your check as soon as possible.
That being said, it's still delicious and a good bet when things are not too crowded. They do not dumb-down the spicy dishes for non-Thais or sweeten everything like most in Manhattan. I also like to peruse their dessert case and grab something sweet for the ride home.
SOFT SHELL CRAB TO DIE FOR
by Superchin at Citysearch
Kind of far from civilization, but near the 7 Train, but fortunately, not difficult to find. Be ready to wait to be seated at peak hours, so make reservations (it never really seems like they take these very seriously though) and GET THERE EARLY!
Must haves on the menu are as follows: SOFT SHELL CRAB (with Basil and hot peppers)---YUM. The Green Curry is brilliant. Drunken noodles are fantastic. Most dishes are spicy, and can be on the salty side, but is to be expected of Thai menus.
Tum Yum Soup is so sour it'll burn a hole in your stomach---but I think that's the way its intended to be.
Whole Fish can be a little dry, so, order both with caution.
The have a pretty large selection of rice choices which I found to be quite delightful: sticky, jasmine, coconut and brown.
ENJOY! MUST GO!!
- Pros: Fantastic food, worth the wait
- Cons: Can be busy, crowded and slow serviced
