The most Authentic Thai food you will ever find
5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

If you know variety of real Thai dishes, you will like this place a lot. If you don't then I don't know you will find it different from other Thai restaurants. I am a Thai girl, have lived in the states for 3 yrs. I live in DFW Texas area. I always eat out and Thai food is definitely my preferred. I tried as many new Thai restaurants as possible in DFW or when I'm on vacation. What I'm looking for is an authenticity of Thai food and that's what I found in Sripraphai. ( oh I also cook many Thai dishes sometimes.) Sripraphai may not be the best Thai restaurant for everybody, however, if you love real Thai taste you will not be regret. To enjoy Sripraphai the most, I recommend if you have Thai friends who can expose you to new delicious dishes other than RED/GREEN or Pad Thai or drunken noodles. Some of you who like plain Thai dishes that most restaurants adjust the western taste to it, you might not like Sripraphai. This place suits people who want to discover new Thai dishes with rich and authentic taste. I just visited Sripraphai in May 2008 here what I tried and you may want to order. TRY fried red snapper with sour and spicy (and a bit sweet) mango sauce $18.00 or fried cat fish with the same sauce. $13.00 TRY Kang SOM with fried egg in it. (light soup( no coconut milk) with spicy and sour taste.) $8.00 TRY Nam Tok noodles soup. ( Dark Soup) and when I say spicy and sour remember most Thai dishes always carry sweet taste, so don't be scared. Oh The good quality Fish Cake or Shrimp cake supposed to be a bit chewy and bouncy, not just soft. Shrimp cake was awesome. I also had known tha t Sripraphai has secret Thai Tea recipe. ( I guess Thai coffe too.) It's good trust me, at least it's good for most Thai people. It was made fresh daily and to make it you need boiling water that's why when they serve it, it might not be cold enough. Just let the server know you need more ICE.
