I always get annoyed when I need reservations in a restaurant, because that means you are planning dinner as an event, and I prefer to just drop by a place I like whenever I'm hungry. But I guess in this case it was worth it. Very late on a Saturday the place was still packed, but thanks to reservations and valet parking we were promptly seated. Place looks great. Its a modern combination of tradition in a private environment with a touch of familiarity. Variety in the menu was great and so was the food. Servers were all very friendly and attentive. Prices were on the high side but it was to be expected. I cant judge desserts because we went elsewhere for them, but I was told they were great. I'm really glad to hear they have lots of locations since I'll be looking forward to try them all, LOL

My guest and I had an affable waiter and we thought the food was "good". We were having an adequate dining experience until a ran across the dining room floor! We dined after 10:00pm in the evening so the restaurant was nearly empty (there were only two other patrons in the dining room besides ourselves); this, in combination with the subdued lighting, set the scene for exposure to "what lurks beneath" at Ruth's Chris. Needless to say, I couldnt get out of there fast enough, and am still nauseated at the thought of what matter I may have consumed at that meal. Disgusting!

This place consistently serves an excellent filet mignon that is as good as anything you can get in Manhattan. However, their other cuts of meat dont always measure up to the non-chain big boys in midtown. Service is good and consistent and the atmosphere is very comfortable. If you dont feel like hiking into Manhattan this place will certainly get the job done.
Pros: Filet Mignon, Service, Location
Cons: Other cuts of beef

Very Nice Place would recommend it highly. Nice Bar Scene and drinks reasonable.
