I have seen Dr. HIggins on several occassions and have always found him prompt, conversational and definitely not one of those jock-ey orthopods that are out there. He is intelligent, interested and explains the prognosis/follow-up, etc., in a clear manner. I have never had to have surgery but if I did, I would feel confident in his hands. I have recommended his services to several people, including my primary care physician.

I waited in the lobby for over an hour, waited in the exam room for an additional 20 minutes. Saw the doctor for a total of 5 minutes until being pawned off to an assistant. When I told her I had specific questions for the doctor, I was told he was busy on the phone. After my MRI I wasn't contacted for over a MONTH, and then was called after the staff was told I was on VACATION. The epitome of smugness.

Cons: ambivalence, indifferent, arrogant

Dr. Higgins oozes competence and confidence. I have recommended him to many people and all have been very happy. This guy is brilliant and very cool.
