The Coffee Guy Rumble: "A table full of very drunk people were having a good old time. One in particular was very animated physically and kept violently using his hands to describe things. He would punch the air, point rapidly in a certain direction, etc. Our very timid, quiet coffee guy was carrying a tray of hot French press coffee and sidled up behind this guy, whose arm flew out and knocked the coffee service onto this gent's wife's chest. She was incredibly drunk, and quite anesthetized. She kicked back in horror, and, as she was falling, she tore her shirt off before hitting the floor. At the same time, the coffee guy grabbed linen napkins and began touching this guy's wife's breasts while she was on her back on the floor." --Daniel Levy, Executive Chef -

Blow-up Doll Brawl: "I had only lived in New York a matter of weeks when a close friend from home and I decided to spread our NYU-bound wings and try a local pub. Dormitory rumors of black-and-tans and overlooked IDs lead us to Barrow Street Ale House. As the pints hit the table, our obviously antagonized waitress glared at the group of men in the corner. 'It's a bachelor party and they're obnoxious,' she explained. We tried to ignore the ruckus, but things were obviously escalating. Things got really interesting when a life-sized blow-up doll presented itself. Our waitress had had enough. The doors to the kitchen swung open and she flew at the doll, butcher knife in hand--recollections of the 'Psycho' soundtrack were in my mind. She stabbed the doll again and again until the plastic corpse lay wilted on the table. Wears His Heart Under His Sleeve: "This couple has been coming in for years. They are covered in tattoos, and one night the gentleman told the waiter ahead of time that they were going to get engaged during dinner. So they are enjoying dinner and all of a sudden they get into a huge fight because the man told the girl that he had gotten another tattoo--she was upset because they had agreed not to get any more. So after a big fight he rips off the bandage and the tattoo said 'Will you marry me?' So then the girl said yes and agreed to get another tattoo of her answer." --Staff members
